It looks like the Biden-Harris admin’s new “humane” border policy is getting a big thumbs-up from illegal border crossers and human smuggling cartels.

The number of migrants crossing the border illegally has been staying high despite the White House’s claim that the surge is often “seasonal” and “cyclical”.

This has been going on for months and the heat hasn’t deterred the migrants from coming.

While the Biden-Harris administration continues to downplay and hide what is happening at the border, the situation is clearly getting worse.

Fox News released some drone footage of a massive number of people who had crossed the border illegally and were being held by CBP officers in Mission, Texas.

Troubling drone footage emerged online Sunday that reportedly showed up to 1,000 migrants being held by border patrol in Mission, Texas, prompted criticism from Republicans who said the footage underscores the crisis at the border.

After that shocking video, more were still coming.

Clearly, the Biden-Harris administration isn’t taking border security seriously.

Vice President Kamala Harris doggedly refused to go to the border for months, and has not had any meaningful discussions with members of Congress who represent jurisdictions where migrants are crossing, but she is forever talking about “root causes” of migration.

Harris recently released what she thinks those “root causes” are. She says that in order to stop the flood of illegal border crossers, five issues must be addressed:

  • Economic insecurity and inequality in Central America
  • Combating corruption, strengthening democratic governance, and advancing the rule of law
  • Promoting respect for human rights, labor rights, and a free press
  • Countering and preventing violence, extortion, and other crimes perpetrated by criminal gangs, trafficking networks, and other organized criminal organizations
  • Combating sexual, gender-based, and domestic violence.

So, basically, the United States has to help Central American countries improve themselves while continuing to offer generous protections for anyone who decides to hop the border.

That’s not the reason.

We know that this was the reason why:

It’s clear that it is this government’s policy to be welcoming and incredibly generous to illegal border crossers that is one of the major “root causes” for migration.

And let’s not forget, this is while the same administration is discussing federal mandates to restrict the freedoms of American citizens due to a pandemic… which is no problemo for people who are crossing the border and COVID-positive.

…Republicans have been critical of the Biden administration over its handling of the border issue. They say the president should be more assertive in getting the problem under control given that there is a global pandemic…

…U.S. officials reported this month that they had encountered 55,805 members of families with children in June, up 25% from the previous month. That figure still remains far below the high of 88,587 in May 2019.

How do we stop the illegal crossings when the cartels have found ways to thwart CBP?

This is a problem that goes right to the top — the Shambling Carcass of Mediocrity that isn’t sure what day it is, and his Diversity-Appointed Second in Command just cannot — or will not — enforce the laws on the books. Their ultimate goal seems to allow as many people as possible (unless they’re Cuban) and then grant amnesty. To hell with anyone dumb enough to emigrate legally and follow the rule of law.

And the left says that Trump supporters are the ones who are a “threat to democracy.”
