On Thursday, the President showed us more of that “Biden Unity.”

The President who ran his campaign on a “return to normalcy” and an end to division continues to divide Americans and vilify those with whom he disagrees.

Now, he’s using the pandemic and vaccines to further divide an already divided country.

Back in December 2020, when he was still feigning unity, Biden said that he didn’t think that COVID vaccines should be mandatory.

But all of that is over.

Biden announced that he was going to impose vaccine mandates on all federal workers and contractors, as well as businesses with 100 or more employees. A double dose of vaccination or weekly testing will be required for employment. Limited medical and religious exemptions will apply.

The mandates for federal workers and contractors were through executive order, the one for the private businesses with 100 employees or more will be through the Department of Labor. Under the new rule, violators could be fined up to $14,000 per violation.

Interestingly, more than 600,000 federal employees at USPS will be exempt from his federal vaccine mandate. It’s not like postal workers work with the public or anything, right?

Joe ran on the promise that if the Bad Orange Man was out of the Oval Office and stopped spreading his “dangerous” message like, “don’t live in fear of the virus,” then the goodness alone emanating from the White House would spread all over the country and eliminate the virus that would sense the shift in the politics.

Just like the oceans didn’t start to recede once Obama took office, it hasn’t quite worked out that way.

Even though Biden promised to “shut down the virus” and not the economy, the virus is still spreading.

According to the Washington Free Beacon’s “Biden COVID Death Tracker”, nearly a quarter of a million people have died from SARS-CoV-2 since he took office less than 8 months ago. That’s almost a third of all COVID deaths in the United States since the pandemic began, and that’s after multiple vaccines, more than 3/4 of all eligible citizens vaccinated, and blue state governors like Cuomo, Wolf, and Whitmer killing seniors in nursing homes with their deadly orders.

It’s almost like a respiratory virus is going to spread… because it’s a respiratory virus. It’s pretty clear that the vaccine manufacturers, medical experts, and media talking heads aren’t being completely honest with us regarding that.

In his 25-minute address, Biden scolded the unvaxxed and unleashed his frustration.

Nearly 8 months after declaring “war” on the coronavirus as he took office, Biden announced far-reaching new federal requirements Thursday that could force millions to get shots. In doing so, he embraced those who haven’t rolled up their sleeves as a new foe amid a devastating surge in cases that is straining the nation’s health system and constricting its economy.

“We’ve been patient, but our patience is wearing thin,” Biden said from the State Dining Room. “And your refusal has cost all of us.”

The unvaccinated minority, he added, “can cause a lot of damage, and they are.”

The speech marked the starkest public airing of Biden’s own frustrations over the direction of the COVID-19 pandemic and a striking departure from his familiar talk of national healing. In essence, he scolded a minority of the country for holding back the majority. And he had especially harsh words for public officials who have stoked or exploited vaccine fears for political gain.

“A distinct minority of Americans, supported by a distinct minority of elected officials, are keeping us from turning the corner,” Biden said. “These pandemic politics are making people sick, causing unvaccinated people to die.”

Biden had more harsh words for the unvaccinated than he’s had for the Taliban.

The President sounded like a comic book villain… but one that doesn’t understand The Science™.

Biden said that the “Bottom line” was, “We’re going to protect vaccinated workers from unvaccinated coworkers.” He added, “We’re going to reduce the spread of COVID-19 by increasing the share of the workforce that is vaccinated in businesses all across America.”

Wait… if you had the vaccine, aren’t you already protected? Why would the unvaccinated pose a risk to the people who have had the vaccine? Doesn’t the vaccine protect them?

There is nothing that will fuel vaccine hesitancy more than saying that the vaccinated “need to be protected” from possible infection.

Besides, we’ve seen that vaccinated people can spread the virus.

Israel is highly vaccinated and is seeing COVID cases rise despite introducing a booster dose and announcing that they’re already planning on a fourth jab.

But Biden is losing patience with the people who don’t comply with his vaccine diktat.

There is no discussion of natural immunity after infection even though it’s been shown to be more effective at preventing illness than the vaccine.

You’d think that that might be addressed, but the CDC is still saying that people who have recovered from the virus must still be vaccinated with a vaccine that has waning efficacy.

About the vaccine-hesitant, it isn’t just the MAGA crowd that are cautious about the vax…

New research from a New Mexico State University professor shows hesitancy toward the COVID-19 vaccine is much more prevalent among Hispanic and Black adults in the United States when compared to the overall hesitancy rate for the general American population.

Jagdish Khubchandani, professor of public health sciences at NMSU, analyzed 13 studies conducted in the U.S. that examined COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy among 107,841 American adults. He focused his research on the data related to Hispanics and African Americans, the two largest minority groups in the U.S…

…His findings, published in the journal Brain, Behavior, and Immunity, show the overall vaccine hesitancy rate was 41.6 percent for African American adults and 30.2 percent for Hispanic adults across the 13 studies. By comparison, the hesitancy rate for all participants in the studies was 26.3 percent.

Well, that’s awkward…

Why is Joe wanting to marginalize people of color with his vaccine mandate?

Biden isn’t the only one flip-flopping on vaccine mandates.

In just a few months, Speaker Nancy Pelosi went from “it’s a privacy issue” to mandate

A tetanus shot after ice cream?

Someone ought to tell Joe that ice cream could be dangerous! He should probably get a tetanus shot just in case.

“What are the odds of his ice cream being contaminated?” you ask… oh, we’re way past the point of being able to assess risk these days.

Check out Doug’s latest book, The Art of Joe: The Political Brilliance of President Biden. If you have left-leaning family members, workmates, or classmates, to buy several copies and place them in common areas. Make sure you have your video camera ready for when they pick it up and thumb through it because they will be triggered which will make for a great viral video to share across social media. Also, buy a couple for the GOP NeverTrumpers that you know. Finally, both the book’s cover and the epilogue, Notable Quotable Joe are worth the price of admission. We’ve included before and after Biden on Afghanistan. Jen Psaki will no likey this book, but you will. BTW, the book is 95% bereft of any content. Just like Biden’s head.
