Mayorkas Says At LEAST 10K Haitians Were Released Into The U.S. — Ex ICE Director Calls That A Lowball

How can you believe anything that the Biden-Harris administration says about anything?

They lied about Afghanistan and the “righteous” drone strike that didn’t actually kill an ISIS-K terrorist but did kill an aid worker and 9 members of his family including 7 children.

They lied about life returning to “normal” in a post-vaccine world and that they’d “lock down the virus.”

They lied that they were going to be the “adults in charge” bringing “unity” to a divided country.

They lied about inflation being “temporary.”

We know that all of that was utter bullcrap.

We also know that they’re lying about the situation at the border.

They were lying when the numbers started to rise after Biden’s election and migrants were coming across wearing “Biden Let Us In” t-shirts, we saw overflowing holding facilities in the midst of a pandemic, they lied that it was “cyclical and seasonal” and the numbers would drop off in the summer. They lied about not releasing migrants into the interior of the United States.

They lied as “Border Czar” Vice President Kamala Harris avoided the border for as long as possible and instead went on a foreign tour to discuss “root causes” while the administration continued to say that “now is not the time” to cross illegally as though there is a time to break immigration law.

The sudden surge of Haitian migrants crossing illegally at Del Rio, Texas has left many Americans with a lot of questions like…

• How the hell did so many Haitians arrive at that particular border spot all at the same time?
• Why are they coming now?
• Why are they being allowed in during the pandemic?
• Why aren’t they being sent back to the countries that they’ve been living in for several years? (Many have been living in South America for years.)
• Why haven’t social media companies been punished for allowing messages encouraging illegal migration — sending people to make the treacherous journey — the way that people are suspended and banned for COVID misinformation and alleged “mean” tweets?
• How many people are now in the United States?
• Where are they?
• Are immigration laws being enforced at all?
• How is it humane to allow a refugee camp to be set up under an international bridge?

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas spoke to Chris Wallace on Fox News on Sunday and admitted that more than 10,000 Haitian migrants have been released into the United States and that they haven’t been tested for COVID-19.

Mayorkas was defensive and he said that it is “one of our proudest traditions” to allow people to cross the border illegally. WHAT?!

Republicans have slammed Alejandro Mayorkas after he finally admitted that 12,000 Haitian migrants have been released into the U.S. and acknowledged the figure ‘could be even higher’.

The Secretary of Homeland Security told Fox News on Sunday that approximately ‘10,000 or so – 12,000’ mostly Haitian migrants had been released into the country.

‘It could be even higher,’ he added. ‘The number that are returned could be even higher. What we do is we follow the law as Congress has passed it.’

In the same interview, Mayorkas acknowledged that some of the thousands of migrants who had been camped out under a bridge near Del Rio, Texas, had not been tested for Covid-19.

Myorkas also threw the Border Control Agents who were part of the Horse Patrol under the bus after leftists went nuts about “whipping” Haitians because they don’t know what split reins are. No such thing was happening, but the left has gone all-in and the Democrats are following suit. Disgraceful.

If they wanted open borders, then the Biden-Harris ticket should have run on that openly instead of just sliding it in as an official policy with their actions while still trying to claim that they’re telling people “do not come.”

If Vice President Kamala Harris wants to know the “root causes” of “irregular immigration” it’s directly attributable to their policy of not enforcing immigration law.

Former ICE Director Tom Homan doesn’t think that Mayorkas is being honest.

He said that the massive 10,000 to 12,000 number doesn’t include the people that border control hasn’t encountered because they’re so narrowly focused on particular areas where there is a surge.

We know that there are frequent instances of border patrol agents dealing with a surge of migrants at one known illegal entry point and a few hundred feet away, people are crossing unimpeded.

Former ICE Director Tom Homan accused Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas of misleading the public after the Biden official finally said 12,000 Haitian migrants have been released into the U.S.

‘It’s much more than that and he knows that,’ Homan said.

In an interview with Fox on Monday morning, the Trump-era immigration official said Mayorkas underestimated the number of migrants successfully crossing the southwest border because he didn’t account for people who were never confronted by border agents and so are harder to track down.

‘When he said the 8,000 will return to Mexico, went back to Mexico, he realizes they went one or two miles down the line and came into the United States because they surged so many resources to Del Rio they left 220 miles of border unguarded,’ he said.

Illegal border crossing is a real problem and it seems that there are some people that just don’t want to follow immigration law.

The thing is, if they’re denied entry in the U.S. and aren’t followed up on properly, there could be another border crisis as they flood into a third or fourth country.

In 2017, Haitians fearing deportation by the Trump administration headed north and hopped over to Canada putting a strain on border control there.

That’s not how the “refugee” system works. It’s supposed to be the first “safe haven” not where you can have the best benefits.

Is this kind of thing humane?

Maybe we should disincentivize illegal border crossing everywhere. It’s dangerous.
