Team Biden put on their serious faces when they told us the Taliban wanted the respect and admiration of the ‘international community’.

Sorry to burst your bubble, folks. But cloying for the acclaim and affections of the alleged ‘international community’ is a particularly liberal affliction. Just becuase THEY want the glowing praise of the sophisticate class, they expect others are motivated by the same petty ambitions.

Nope. Only the shallowest of people build their identity on how others will perceive them.

Looking through that flawed lens has caused liberals to completely misread not just their political rivals here at home, but Foreign Affairs, as well.

It was a catastrophic error in how they entered into their ‘negotiations’ with the Taliban. It was tragicomic when Biden’s people spoke confidently that Afghani women would have their rights respected in an ‘inclusive’ Afghanistan. HEY JOE: Taliban Just Fired All Female Government Workers … Now What?

But was literally a lethal lapse in judgment when they decided to let the Taliban oversee Kabul’s security rather than US forces. That one decision led to untold numbers of American citizens and green card holders being trapped behind Taliban checkpoints, unable to reach the airport.

Who are these ‘new leaders’ that Western leaders are so quick to give credibility and legitimacy to? They include several former Gitmo prisoners, swapped for a traitor by Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

Who else are these ‘leaders’? They are an international drug cartel. Heroin dealers, to be specific. How do our Western leaders feel about lending legitimacy to a leading international Heroin cartel?

Nearly three tonnes of heroin with a street value of $2.7bn (£2bn) from Afghanistan have been seized from a western Indian port in a major bust, officials said.

Two Indians were arrested after the heroin, which was kept in two containers marked as carrying talc, was found by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) at Mundra Port in the western state of Gujarat, the government agency said.

The consignment – with one container carrying nearly 2,000kg of heroin and another holding nearly 1,000kg – originated from Afghanistan and was shipped from a port in Iran to Gujarat, the DRI said.

…Afghanistan is the world’s biggest producer of heroin, supplying between 80-90% of global output.

Heroin production has boomed in Afghanistan in recent years, helping fund the Taliban which returned to power in August.

Efforts by the US and international community to control the country’s heroin trade over many years have been largely unsuccessful.

At the same time, the Taliban’s return to power has placed more strain on the country’s already dire economic situation. —Guardian

Oh look. The story even mentions a port in Iran.

That wouldn’t be the same Iran that our ‘wise leaders’ are hellbent on renegotiating a Nuclear deal with, would it? Entering negotiations from such a point of obvious weakness… what could possibly go wrong?

Lemme guess: Iran, who has been the world’s leading state-sponsor of terror for years, is also yearning for this mythical inclusion in the ‘international community’ right?

Is it possible that the lies our leaders tell themselves are even more insidious than the ones they tell the rest of us?

It’s no secret that people are cowering with fear these days. But those of us with faith know that living your life in fear is crap. Let’s get that message out there.

We’re living in a time where fear is running rampant and unchecked.

It seems like most public policy is based on fear these days, especially when it comes to the Wuhan Virus.

2 Timothy 1:7 says, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

It seems that a LOT of people have completely forgotten that message.

Let’s give them a reminder…
