A member of the European Parliament, Christine Anderson of Germany’s Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) party, says that Australia has transformed from a liberal democracy to a totalitarian regime as a result of the response to COVID-19.
Anderson isn’t wrong.
We’ve watched as the “land down under” has radically transformed from a free society to one where it seemed that every move required government approval.
The world should have seen it coming from early on when the island nation decided to pursue a “COVID Zero” policy and used surveillance helicopters equipped with night-vision to make sure that people were following lockdown restrictions. While COVID had just begun to spread in the country, police caught a trio of buddies popping a cold one on a rooftop and demanded that they surrender.
It all went downhill quite rapidly from there.

It got so bad that even China was saying, “Whoa, guys! Don’t you think that’s a bit much?” Although that’s because Australia was doing this openly rather than behind the scenes with threats of repercussion and control over the media — you know, the way that China handles imposing similar measures. It’s also an opportunity to slag a liberal democracy, which China doesn’t ever pass up.
Australia’s tyranny came to a head with the “Quarantine Camps” and what amounts to forced imprisonment.
Recently, an Australian Member of Parliament, George Christensen, sent out what he called an “S.O.S. to the rest of the world” warning about Australia’s descent into tyranny through the “government-imposed segregation between the vaccinated and the non-vaccinated.”
Christensen said that he’s concerned that Australian leaders are following the same path that led to the most heinous atrocities in recent history with oppressive measures under the guise of “public health.”
He clearly states that he is not calling for violence, but says that “you cannot comply your way out of tyranny,” and said that “the only way that tyranny is going to end is when enough people say, no, we don’t accept it.”
In a video released Saturday, Anderson responded to Christensen’s S.O.S. saying that she was committed to warning the world that Australia’s “once free and liberal democracy has been transformed into a totalitarian regime which tramples on human rights, civil liberties, and the rule of law.”
Anderson warned those who believe their government is looking out for them, “At no point in history, have people forcing others into compliance, been the ‘good guys.’ The welfare of humanity has always been the alibi of tyrants.”
She then says that the vaccine does not protect you from COVID but it does “protect you from government oppression… for now.”

I’m a German, and we once asked our grandparents how they could have just stood by in silence, allowing a horrific, totalitarian regime to come about. Anyone could have known. All they had to do was open their eyes and take a look. The vast majority chose not to. So, what will you tell your grandchildren? Will you tell them you didn’t know? Will you tell them you were just following orders?
You must understand, it isn’t about breaking the “Fourth Wave” — it is all about breaking people.
Australia doesn’t need a “No COVID” strategy, what Australia needs is a “No Oppression” strategy. So, I stand in support with your fight for freedom and democracy.
We need to stop our governments from transforming our free and democratic societies into totalitarian regimes.
Anderson previously made a brilliant speech in opposition to vaccine mandates noting that political elites have never once in the history of mankind cared about the wellbeing of regular people. She also says that she’s willing to be imprisoned for her refusal to get the shot.
I will not be reduced to a mere guinea pig by getting vaccinated with an experimental drug. And I will most assuredly not get vaccinated because my government tells me to, and promises, in return, I will be granted freedom.
Let’s be clear about one thing: No one grants me freedom, for I am a free person. So I dare the European Commission and the German government to throw me in jail. Lock me up and throw away the key for all I care, but you will never be able to coerce me into being vaccinated if I, the free citizen that I am, choose not to be vaccinated.

It’s no secret that people are cowering with fear these days. But those of us with faith know that living your life in fear is crap. Let’s get that message out there.
We’re living in a time where fear is running rampant and unchecked.
It seems like most public policy is based on fear these days, especially when it comes to the Wuhan Virus.
2 Timothy 1:7 says, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
It seems that a LOT of people have completely forgotten that message.
