The Case For Why ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Is Patriotic, While Eff Trump Was Anti-American

Dems and their media accomplices have been working very hard to frame their side as the defenders of America, and Republicans as systematically destroying it… despite all evidence to the contrary.

Anything Dems disagree with is now presented as ‘evidence of an insurrection’… including the F*ck Joe Biden chants, as well as the family-friendly ‘let’s go Brandon’ variation.

With the launch of Let’s Go Brandon themed cryptocurrency leaning way in to the pro-American ethos that energized Trump’s MAGA brand, it got this writer thinking about the contrast between the current and former residents of 1600 Pennsylvania.

To really start at the beginning, we have to go all the way back to a statement Rush Limbaugh made about Obama’s presidency, when he said ‘I hope Obama fails’. As always, the context makes all the difference. Rush was asked what his hopes for an Obama presidency looked like. The Doctor of Democracy looked at Obama’s agenda and did not like what it meant for America.

‘I hope Obama Fails’ — Rush Limbaugh

If I wanted Obama to succeed, I’d be happy the Republicans have laid down. And I would be encouraging Republicans to lay down and support him. Look, what he’s talking about is the absorption of as much of the private sector by the US government as possible, from the banking business, to the mortgage industry, the automobile business, to health care. I do not want the government in charge of all of these things. I don’t want this to work. So I’m thinking of replying to the guy, ‘Okay, I’ll send you a response, but I don’t need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.’ (interruption) What are you laughing at? See, here’s the point. Everybody thinks it’s outrageous to say. Look, even my staff, ‘Oh, you can’t do that.’ Why not? Why is it any different, what’s new, what is unfair about my saying I hope liberalism fails? Liberalism is our problem. Liberalism is what’s gotten us dangerously close to the precipice here. Why do I want more of it? I don’t care what the Drive-By story is. I would be honored if the Drive-By Media headlined me all day long: ‘Limbaugh: I Hope Obama Fails.’ Somebody’s gotta say it. — RushLimbaugh

Rush Limbaugh’s opposition to Obama was entirely pragmatic. Any area in which Obama achieved his goals would come at the expense of some ‘fundamental transformation’ of the same America whose Constitution Obama had sworn an oath to defend. In a choice between Obama and America, there was only one decision: Rush chose America.

Dems wanted Trump to fail

By contrast, we saw Democrats playing dirty against Trump from the very beginning. Hillary’s people got a British spy to run Russian disinformation through the FBI as a pretext to spy on Trump’s presidential campaign, and as an effort to unlawfully use the organs of government delegitimize the (first?) four years of his Presidency.

They used this lie to weaponize his own DOJ against him for 2 years so that he could not pursue the priorities he had promised his constituents he would deliver. Meanwhile, David Brock issued a White Paper (‘War Plan 2017’) detailing a four-pronged attack to delegitimize Trump even before he took office. The plan included a steady drip of negative reporting against Trump, an endless drip of lawsuits and allegations, and a campaign to freeze the right out of social media — among others. (Sound familiar?)

The desire of the elite to ‘dump Trump’ even if that meant hurting ordinary Americans to do it was perfectly encapsulated by Bill Maher. Video: Bill Maher Admits He Would Rather See America Suffer Than Trump Succeed

Why those ideas are NOT the same.

A superficial comparison of those ideas would make them appear the same. Political party ‘a’ doesn’t want to see President of party ‘b’ succeed. But that’s far too narrow a view. The Bill Maher quote gives the perfect context to unlock that difference.

Bill Maher is entirely insulated from the consequences of any negative economic effects a recession would bring. That axe would fall on some other poor schlub’s neck. He was willing for some ‘little guy’ to take the hit so that he could get the political outcome he wanted.

It was about gaining the political power they had lost when Trump was elected.

By comparison, if the MAGA agenda succeeded, it would benefit the average American. We would see a growth of real purchasing power and general optimism in the middle class. There was a whole list of Trump’s achievements, and they benefitted everybody, not just some coastal elites.

Here is that list: FOR POSTERITY: The White House’s OFFICIAL List Of Trump’s Accomplishments

Meanwhile, Joe Biden has reflexively rejected every aspect of that Trump agenda, including immediately deep-sixing the 1776 Project.

Joe has embraced and promoted the politics of race essentialism, pitting groups of Americans against one another. He has made the DC bureaucracy an explicitly partisan organ of the state, rewarding its friends and punishing its enemies.

How do we know that Dems are more interested in power than people? They’ve proven it in their policy again and again.

When Trump was offering pandemic money to Americans suffering under the lockdown? Pelosi blocked it until AFTER the election… and blamed Trump so that she could leverage the suffering of American citizens for their own benefit.

We see the same thing at the border. Does Biden care about upholding laws or the Constitution? Nope. Does he care that terrorists and criminal sexual monsters have been apprehended at the border? Or that record amounts of drug shipments have resulted in record drug overdose deaths in America? Or that everyone coming over that border illegally enriches and empowers a criminal cartel that can already rival most national governments in military hardware and expertise? Or the ‘migrants’ those same criminal cartels have been victimizing?

Of course not.

He is fighting against court orders that have told him to enforce the Remain In Mexico law. Just like he did when he ignored SCOTUS in trying to extend an eviction moratorium.

So what about Let’s Go Brandon?

When crowds chant ‘F*ck Joe Biden’, or the more family-friendly ‘Let’s Go Brandon’, they are voicing the same idea that the late, great Rush Limbaugh said about Obama.

If every victory for that agenda comes at a price to America itself, we WANT it to fail. Because the less success they have in pushing the agenda of the American Marxists, the better the whole of America will be for it.

And so… for the patriot, there is only one choice.

F*ck Joe Biden.
