YO PATRIOTS: Are You Buying The Story Of This Federal Investigation Into Rep Cuellar?

This is the Pandora’s Box you open when you begin to weaponize law enforcement against your political enemies. How can we know when the investigations are in good faith?

The FBI is carrying boxes of evidence away from Rep Cuellar’s home. The investigation might be totally above-board, but after all of the times they’ve been caught with their hands in the cookie jar, we can no longer take their word for it.

After four years of ‘Russian Collusion’ nonsense, there is a small part of this writer that would like nothing better than to sit back and enjoy the schadenfreude of watching a Democrat fall under the hammer of a Federal investigation.

But this is no ordinary Democrat. This one has been a thorn in the Biden administration’s side. And having seen what an abject toady our so-called AG has been to the Biden agenda, that raises questions. Is it possible that Democrats could be using this to send a message to some of their own members that stepping out of line has consequences? Or even to put their thumb on the scale of a primary election?

Years ago it would have been easy to laugh that off as conspiracy thinking. But that was before the FBI was exposed for, well, conspiracies.

It wasn’t so long ago that someone in a TV interview offhandedly said that the criminal investigation into Senator Bob Menendez moving ahead to the prosecution stage came as the direct result of him having opposed Obama’s party policy in … was it Israel? It’s a claim we have no way to either prove or disprove, but it raises critical questions.

In some ways, for those living in Stalin’s USSR, there was no more dangerous place to be than in his inner circle. Is it possible the party that has so comfortably aligned itself with Comey, McCabe, Adam Schiff and Nadler has already gone full Stasi against their own party faithful? It sure would fit the Marxist model they have been emulating for all these years.

Let’s look at why the Biden people might want to make an example of this guy before we consider what he’s being accused of.

Cuellar has been disrupting key Democrat narratives

As someone representing voters who are literally at ground zero of Biden’s border crisis, he can’t just wish the problem away. The Biden/Harris broken border is making a real mess of the lives of the very people he swore an oath to represent. More importantly, he has been speaking critically of the Dem failures on this issue — and doing so as a Democrat.

This was last May.

While appearing on Fox News on Sunday, Cuellar said, “To say that we have everything under control—you know I’m supportive of President Biden, I’m a supporter of his—but we’re not paying attention to the border’s communities.”

“And it’s not under control. I can tell you that,” Cuellar said. — NewsWeek

He’s hardly a lockstep Democrat holding the line on other issues, either, as the Houston Chronicle explains:

— Often maligned by progressives, he’s a conservative free trader who supports gun rights, opposes abortion, and was known as the favorite Democrat of President George W. Bush, whom he supported in the 2000 election.
— Cuellar’s instinct for the middle ground as a conservative Democrat — or less charitably put, his ability to play to both sides — was on perfect display when President Donald Trump dispatched active-duty troops to the border weeks before the 2018 midterm elections after calling a vehicle caravan of Central American asylum-seekers approaching the U.S. through Mexico an impending invasion. Cuellar initially said the military “partnership” with U.S. Customs and Border Protection would enhance the capabilities of federal agents, but he also called the deployment “neither sensible nor responsible.” — HoustonChronicle

Having seen the deliberate attempt by the FBI to use Russian Collusion to disrupt the Obama/Trump smooth transition of power, and deny a duly-elected President the mandate given to him by the People, as well as the very active role they played in the Whitmer kidnapping plot(?) and more recently still, the coordination to criminalize as ‘domestic terrorists’ the parents who objected to school board’s unaccountable behavior in Loudoun County and elsewhere, we know that at least some top-level decision-makers in the FBI are quite willing to be corrupted to achieve political goals while completely dropping the ball with, for example, Ray Epps or a foreign-born known-to-authorities jihadi holding a rabbi, and his congregants, hostage during a religious service.

There are plenty of bigger fish with dubious histories the FBI could be putting their resources into investigating. *Cough* Hunter Biden *cough*, or the famous and important people in Epstein’s black book regardless of party affiliation. Perhaps those allegations of Ilhan Omar’s connection to campaign fraud, immigration fraud, other felonies, or ballot stuffing? Maybe even Pelosi’s son who would be worthwhile targets for such investigations, but the FBI has decided to go ahead with prioritizing a Democrat who just coincidentally(?) happened to be a fly in the ointment for the Democrat party.

Why is the FBI carrying away his electronics as evidence?

Like Menendez, the investigation that he has been caught up in involves corruption. It has not yet been made clear if he is personally being investigated, or if he is merely incidental to the investigation. But the seizure of his electronics just a few weeks ahead of his party’s March 1 primary certainly isn’t doing him any favors.

Neither are published photos of the FBI carrying the evidence away from his home. It twinges memories of how the news just ‘happened’ to be tipped off to elaborate pre-dawn raids of figures in the Mueller Investigation when a discreet, non-publicized knock on their door would have sufficed, doesn’t it?

Media outlets are reporting that the FBI agents seen outside the home and campaign office of Texas Democrat Rep. Henry Cuellar were there as part of an investigation related to Azerbaijan and contacts in the U.S.

On Thursday, ABC News reported that sources say the FBI’s search of Cuellar’s home and office were part of a federal probe related to connections between the former Soviet republic and several U.S. businessmen.

…”Congressman Cuellar will fully cooperate in any investigation,” a spokesperson for Cuellar said. “He is committed to ensuring that justice and the law are upheld.”

What might they be interested in?

Azerbaijan has been harshly criticized in the past for bribing foreign officials and diplomats to secure its foreign policy aims and legitimize dubious election results.

The practice is so common in the country that it is known there as ‘caviar diplomacy,’ but it is unclear whether the FBI is investigating any similar allegations in relation to Cuellar.

Surely it is just a coincidence that AOC is pouncing on this news story as an opportunity to push the hard-left open-borders primary replacement for a Democrat who is more interested in representing the local interests of his constituents than the ‘enlightened’ top-down priorities of his party’s coastal elites… right?

Careful what you wish for, AOC. Texans on the border have now seen first-hand what Biden’s policies will get them. And they don’t like it. Putting some kind of hard-left champagne socialist to replace Cuellar as the Dem nominee is not the same as getting the voters to elect him.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
