Princess Cruises isn’t having much luck when it comes to coronavirus outbreaks on their ships.
It was the Diamond Princess that became famous for an outbreak of COVID in February 2020. The ship that had over 3,700 people aboard had an outbreak that infected 567 passengers and 145 crew members. At the time, it was the largest known outbreak of the virus outside of China.
It seems that there has been another outbreak on another of their cruise ships.
Princess Cruises announced that passengers and crew on a ship that arrived in San Francisco on Sunday have tested positive for the Wuhan Virus despite having been fully vaccinated.

The Ruby Princess was returning from a 15-day trip to the Panama Canal. The cruise line said in a statement that infected passengers and crew were asymptomatic or showed mild symptoms. Those affected were “isolated and quarantined while monitored and cared for by our shipboard medical team.” The carrier did not say how many people tested positive or when they tested positive during the trip.
All guests and crew on the ship were vaccinated, the cruise line said. Princess Cruises requires passengers to show a negative coronavirus test and proof of vaccination to board.

The cruise line said that the COVID-positive patients who haven’t completed their isolation period would be sent by private transportation to their homes or provided accommodation in hotels that were “coordinated in advance for isolation and quarantine” in collaboration with the health department of San Francisco and the CDC.
While the Fauci-ites continue to insist on vaccines, boosters, testing, and masks, remember…
Masks didn’t stop outbreaks.
The jabs aren’t stopping outbreaks because the efficacy wanes quickly.
Even the pre-boarding testing requirement isn’t stopping outbreaks.
It is incredibly difficult to stop an airborne respiratory virus especially one that is as infectious as this one is. Fortunately, Xi’s Omicron variant is pretty mild for both the vaxxed and the unvaxxed who are reasonably healthy and don’t have comorbidities.
Now that many people are vaccinated, last month Iceland decided to take the “let ‘er rip” strategy by lifting all COVID restrictions. The Ministry of Health there said that “widespread societal resistance to COVID-19 is the main route out of the epidemic. To achieve this, as many people as possible need to be infected with the virus as the vaccines are not enough, even though they provide good protection against serious illness.”
We can’t keep pretending that vaccination, testing, and continued masking will get us out of this pandemic.
We also can’t continue to insist that there’s a one-size-fits-all approach to this virus — a 75-year old with comorbidities is at much higher risk than a healthy 5-year-old, and some jurisdictions are still insisting that the Kindergartner has to be vaxxed and masked. It’s ridiculous.
What we really need are “medical experts” willing to admit that they’ve been wrong *cough* Fauci *cough* and talk to us like we’re adults.
We can see that the “mitigation measures” aren’t working on cruise ships, so why would they be more effective in a non-enclosed environment?
They won’t. But the “experts” won’t ever admit that.
It’s no secret that people are cowering with fear these days. But those of us with faith know that living your life in fear is crap. Let’s get that message out there.
We’re living in a time where fear is running rampant and unchecked.
It seems like most public policy is based on fear these days, especially when it comes to the Wuhan Virus.
2 Timothy 1:7 says, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
It seems that a LOT of people have completely forgotten that message.
Let’s give them a reminder…
