50% To The ‘Big Guy’? Texts From Laptop From Hell Show Hunter Often Paid Biden Family Expenses

Evidence from the abandoned laptop makes it pretty clear that the finances of President Joe Biden and his son Hunter have been entwined for some time.

The New York Post reported on Saturday that Hunter Biden has been benefiting from his father’s career and connections for his entire life.

This seems pretty obvious with his incredibly lucrative foreign business deals in fields in which he has zero expertise — say, energy companies and bio-labs in Ukraine.

But it’s more than that — when then-Senator Joe Biden was pushing his tough on crime/War on Drugs bona fides, Hunter, who had been battling drug use for years was handled with kid gloves and didn’t receive the harsh penalties his dad was pushing for.

Former President Bill Clinton had tried to intercede with his Alma Mater, Yale University, to get Hunter into law school there, but then-Dean Guido Calabresi had walled off his office and admissions to prevent such attempts to exert influence.

However, Calabresi later met with Hunter and advised him on how to circumvent the process and get himself into the prestigious law program by transferring from Georgetown to Yale. Hunter was accepted to Yale in 1994 after spending a year at Georgetown.

In a remarkable coincidence, later in 1994, Clinton appointed Calabresi to a federal judgeship when Senator Joe Biden was chair of the Judiciary Committee.

But along with the benefits of being Quid Pro Joe‘s son, there were also some obligations.

In early reporting by the NY Post of the Laptop From Hell, messages from Hunter Biden to his daughter Naomi in January 2019 lamented his role in what appears to be the family business.

“I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years. It’s really hard. But don’t worry, unlike pop, I won’t make you give me half your salary,” wrote Hunter.

The New York Post has released a partial list of some of the bills that Hunter paid for his dad and stepmom.

The laptop — infamously abandoned at a Delaware repair shop in April 2019 — does not contain any direct evidence of such money transfers, but does show that Hunter was routinely on the hook for his father’s household expenses while Joe Biden was vice president.

The expenses are spelled out in an email to Hunter from business partner Eric Schwerin from June 5, 2010, entitled “JRB Bills.” They concerned the upkeep of Joe Biden’s palatial lakefront home in the wealthy Greenville enclave of Wilmington, Del. JRB are President Biden’s initials.

Here are a few of the transactions sent to Hunter by Schwerin, who was serving as president of Hunter’s Chinese-linked investment firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners.

• $1,239 in repairs to an air conditioner at “mom-mom’s cottage”
• $1,475 to a painter for “back wall and columns at the lake house”
• $2,600 for fixing up a “stone retaining wall at the lake”
• $475 “for shutters”

In a July 6, 2010 email titled “JRB Future Memo,” Schwerin said that he was in touch with Joe about his personal finances and how to make money once he left office.

“Your Dad just called me (about his mortgage) and mentioned he’d be out a lot soon and not really back until Labor Day … He could use some positive news about his future earnings potential,” wrote Schwerin.

The financial ties between Joe and Hunter went well beyond maintaining the household. In May 2018, while on a drug and alcohol binge in L.A., Hunter accidentally transferred $25,000 from his father’s account to an escort.

He was quickly visited by the Secret Service who told Hunter that the money “is linked to Celtic’s account” which implies that Hunter and Joe share accounts. “Celtic” was Joe Biden’s code name used by the Secret Service when he was Vice President.

Despite the repeated claims by Joe that he had no clue about Hunter’s business dealings, that’s clearly not true.

Both Joe and Jill were listed in an email as Hunter’s “business partners” in 2017 along with Joe’s brother Jim, and a Chinese “emissary.”

The Sept. 20, 2017 email, obtained by Fox News, shows Hunter requesting keys for Joe and Jill Biden, along with his uncle, Jim Biden, to the general manager, Cecilia Browning, at the House of Sweden — a building in Washington, D.C., which contains multiple office suites, as well as a number of embassies.

“[P]lease have keys made available for new office mates: Joe Biden, Jill Biden, Jim Biden,” said the email, with the subject “507.”

In the email, Hunter Biden also requests keys for Gongwen Dong, whom he describes as an “emissary” for Chairman Ye Jianming — the chairman of CEFC Chinese Energy Co.

“I would like the office sign to reflect the following,” he continued, requesting “The Biden Foundation” and “Hudson West (CEFC US).”

“The lease will remain under my company’s name Rosemont Seneca,” he continued, providing details about Dong and Ye, whom he referred to as “my partner,” as well as their contact information.

It’s pretty clear that Hunter is the “bag man” for the Biden family influence-peddling business.

But let’s not just blame Joe — the media has a role covering for Joe and Hunter.

And they’re still doing it.

At the ironic “Disinformation and the Erosion of Democracy” conference in Chicago last week, when pressed by a college freshman about the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story, Atlantic writer Ann Applebaum said that she thought digging through the son of the former Vice President’s foreign business dealings as Joe ran for President was “irrelevant” and not “interesting” enough to become a major news story.

Gee, why do so many people have distrust in the media?

Maybe it’s because of people like Ann Applebaum who don’t find stories of corruption by the Vice President-turned-President’s family “interesting.”
