As a Keynote speaker in a disinformation event, Obama tried to couch his demand for censorship in the context of being pro First Amendment. That was a lie, and we’ve got the receipts.
Most commentators will look at Obama’s speech and focus on his demand to silence ‘disinformation’ platforms that contradict the Regime Media narratives or that shine a bad light on the establishment writ large.
Some will take it further and point out the disinformation specialists who joined him on the panel or mention that Barack Obama has shoveled more than his fair share of horse s#^! since hitting the national stage.
ClashDaily is taking another approach. Since he is claiming to be very nearly a First Amendment absolutist, let’s go straight for the jugular and skewer him with his own record.

He’s pretty close to being a first amendment absolutist… ‘but’.
You know what they say about speakers using ‘but’ in a sentence, right? It negates everything that comes before it. This is no exception.
This, for those of us who went to public school, is the actual text of the First Amendment:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
You will notice that the First Amendment isn’t just one idea, it contains several others within it that roughly break down into the following categories: religious belief and practice; free speech; free press; free association; freedom to protest.
What kind of defender of the Constitution — and these rights in particular — was the man who swore an oath to do exactly that on the day he became the 44th President of these United States of America?
Religion

Obama was a consummate secularist. He pays lip service to religious belief, but when it came to protecting religious rights, they were always expected to yield before anything on the progressive agenda.

That ruling ought to have been unanimous, and it is hardly the only example where the party that literally booed God in their 2012 convention after their leader denounced Christians ‘clinging to their guns and their religion‘. The whole party has a beef with believing Christians. And they’re not even shy about it.

That’s without even going into the campaign he sent his DOJ on to actually RESCIND the court-granted religious asylum the Romeike Family had been given when they came here after being oppressed under laws that were literally enacted by the Third Reich.
Free Speech
Few places have the breadth of free speech latitude of the US Congress. Anything they say in the context of performing their legislative duties is insulated even from many of the usual constraints of free speech. But when Obama absolutely, posititively HAD to know what the Senate was saying about waterboarding, he got his buddy John Brennan to use the CIA to illegally spy on a Co-Equal branch of government.
A worse offence than that would be when, after the FBI was ready to close the case on General Flynn for lack of evidence of wrongdoing, Obama and Biden (Jan 5 2017).
January 4: Following the closure of a pretextually dubious and politically motivated FBI investigation of Flynn at the beginning of January, the leadership of the FBI scrambled to reopen a case against Flynn, the man who in his role as National Security Advisor would have to review their Russia collusion investigation. January 5: Yates, Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper briefed Obama on Russia-related matters in the Oval Office. Biden and Rice also attended. After the Obama briefing, the intelligence chiefs who would be leaving at the end of the term were dismissed and Yates and Comey, who would continue in the Trump administration, were asked to stay. Not only did Obama give his guidance about how to perpetuate the Russia collusion theory investigations, he also talked about Flynn’s conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, according to both Comey and Yates. –Federalist
Flynn was on the transition team. It was his job to talk to foreign diplomats. The FBI knew that his conversations with russians were entirely above-board and that the Russian Collusion narrative was a politically-motivated smear driven by Hillary and boosted by Obama/Biden. He has never YET fully cleared his name or recouped his losses over this issue.
Innocent conversations were weaponized against Flynn because with his background, he knew — or could easily discover — many of the abuses perpetuated by the Obama regime, including the Crossfire Hurricane investigation itself.
If we listed all the examples of Obama’s hostility to the First Amendment, it would take a lot more space than an article would allow. Let’s just hit some of the high — or low — points.
As for the rest, you could ask about the journalists that were targeted by Obama. Here is a sampling of Obama’s record there.
As for protest and free association?
How about weaponizing the IRS to specifically target and block charitiable status of his political opponents, whether they were affiliated with the TEA Party protest movement or invoked words like ‘patriot’ in their name?
Yeah, Obama can call himself pro-1A all he wants.
We know the guy who embarked on a project of ‘fundamentally transforming’ America for the Anti-American socialist shill he really is.
As for Biden, he’s trying to out-do his mentor in kowtowing to the Left’s Agenda. Damn the consequences.
