The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is calling the shooting on Sunday a “politically-motivated hate incident.”
While the Regime Media breathlessly covers the incoherent ramblings of the diseased mind of a teenage monster who shot innocent black shoppers on Saturday and tries to tie him to Tucker Carlson or some nonsense, a number of other violent atrocities occurred in the United States and received far less media coverage.
One of those was a shooting at the Geneva Presbyterian Church in Laguna Woods, California, — a church with a Taiwanese congregation.
Pastor Billy Chang and several parishioners were able to stop the gunman after he began his deadly attack.
A hero pastor at a Taiwanese church in Orange County hit a gunman over the head with a chair while his elderly congregants hogtied him and confiscated his weapons after he went on a shooting spree on Sunday afternoon, killing one and injuring five.
The man opened fire during a lunch reception at the Irvine Taiwanese Presbyterian Church in Laguna Woods, southern California, about 55 miles southeast of Los Angeles at 1.30pm on Sunday. A motive for the shooting has not yet been disclosed, but investigators don’t believe the gunman, an Asian man in his 60s whose name was not immediately released, lives in the community.
Longtime congregant at Irvine Jerry Chen, 72 had just stepped into the kitchen of his church’s fellowship hall when he heard the gunshots and saw church members screaming, running and ducking under tables.
‘I knew someone was shooting,’ he said. ‘I was very, very scared. I ran out the kitchen door to call 911.’

Officials said the shooting ended after the gunman killed one man and wounded five senior citizens before worshippers hog-tied his legs with an electrical cord until deputies arrived. Four of the five people wounded suffered critical gunshot injuries.

The victims had not been identified at the time of the Daily Mail report, but it was later revealed that Dr. John Cheng, a primary care physician, was the person who was shot and killed.
I just found out the person killed in the Laguna Woods shooting yesterday was my primary care physician, Dr. John Cheng. Absolute hero. He attacked the gunman and helped save so many in that church. I just wanted his name to be known. He will be missed. pic.twitter.com/jAW8LvpmaB

Much hullabaloo has been made over the motivation for the Buffalo shooting, but the motivation for this one was
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has revealed new details on why a Las Vegas man would drive to California and begin shooting inside a Laguna Woods church.
Officials said on Monday David Chou, 68, a U.S. citizen who immigrated from China, worked as a security guard in Las Vegas. They said he lives in a rented room in Las Vegas.
Investigators believe Chou was upset about political tensions between China and Taiwan.
Sheriffs are calling this “a politically-motivated hate incident.” Chou is not a regular attendee of the church, and has no known ties to church. During lunch, they said Chou secured doors within the church with chains and disabled locks with superglue.

Molotov cocktails were also found around the church.
Chou is charged with:
- 1 count of murder with use of gun, adding special circumstances to that charge of lying in wait
- 5 counts of attempted murder against each person who suffered gunshot wounds
- 4 counts of unlawful possession of explosives
OC District Attorney Todd Spitzer said that there is a lot of evidence that Chou had a bias against Taiwanese people and hate crime enhancement could be added to the current list of charges.
Chou is being held at the Orange County Intake Release Center on $1 million bail. He faces life imprisonment without the possibility of parole or the death penalty.
It’s pretty clear that this monster also wanted to kill as many people as possible and went the extra mile to attempt to make it difficult for them to escape by using superglue on the locks. He wanted a bloodbath.
But reporting on attacks on Christians isn’t very fashionable these days.
Neither is reporting about a hate-based crime where the perpetrator isn’t white. Those disappear from the news cycle rather quickly.
Remember Waukesha? The BLM activist that tried to assassinate a Louisville mayoral candidate? The more recent NYC subway shooting? How about the Nation of Islam devotee that rammed a car into two Capitol Police on Good Friday killing one of them and brandishing a knife before he was shot?
But it’s not just about race — there’s ideology, too.
Remember the Congressional Baseball shooting of 2017 that targeted Republicans? A shooting by a Bernie Bro who yelled that “This is for healthcare!” before opening fire was a far more deadly threat to members of Congress than unarmed rioters that entered the Capitol on January 6, 2021, no matter how much AOC cries about it.
And yet… those news items didn’t have the staying power with the Regime Media the way that, say, Kyle Rittenhouse did — even though he acted in self-defense.
Expect this story to disappear just as quickly as those others.
It just doesn’t fit the Regime Media’s narrative.
Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.
Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.
This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
