Obama SLAMMED For Tweet Linking Uvalde To George Floyd — But Here’s What Critics Are Missing…

The President that was frequently called the “Divider-in-Chief” has done it again.

On Wednesday, the day after a deranged gunman entered Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, killing 19 children and 2 teachers, former President Barack Obama decided it was a good idea to link that event and the completely unrelated 2-year anniversary of the death of George Floyd in a tweet.

The bloodshed in Uvalde occurred one day prior to the two-year mark of the death of George Floyd, which sparked civil unrest across the country in 2020 after viral footage showed Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on him as he repeatedly claimed he couldn’t breathe until he died.

Chauvin was convicted of second- and third-degree murder last year.

Obama commemorated Floyd’s passing while tying it to the current national mourning of the children killed in Uvalde.

Critics railed against Obama for suggesting a comparison between Tuesday’s massacre and the police brutality Floyd faced.

“Not a single grieving parent today gives a rip about what happened to Floyd or anyone right now,” Redstate editor Kira Davis reacted. “For crying out loud. This is not the time to be advertising for your favorite activist group. How utterly vile.”

“What in the world does the former have to do with the latter?” Ben Shapiro wondered.

“I don’t understand the connection,” journalist Andy Ngo similarly wrote.

“Bro. Not the same. At all,” Fox News contributor Ben Domenech told Obama.

Other conservatives called him out on it as well.

But it seems that many right-wingers are missing the most egregious part of Obama’s post in their initial reactions to the outrageous first tweet in a thread of three — the next two tweets were arguably worse than the first because they plugged the “My Brother’s Keeper Alliance.”

Back in 2014, the Obama White House began the “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative in response to the death of Trayvon Martin in order to address “the persistent opportunity gaps boys and young men of color face and to ensure all young people can reach their full potential.” It has now become part of the Obama Foundation.

Obama’s tweet says that the activist movement that followed the death of George Floyd arose was raising awareness of “systemic racism” and “the need for criminal justice and police reform.”

The third tweet says that the MBK Alliance has been pushing for local leaders to “reimagine police” and then linked to the Obama Foundation website highlighting the MBK Alliance with a call to action.

He’s using a horrific tragedy to push an initiative through his foundation while standing atop the graves of all of the children, the teachers, and even the revered saint of the Left, George Floyd.

That is just unbelievable scumbaggery right there.

Hey, Barry… if your initiative that you invoked scripture to name is so bloody amazing, then how did a “young man of color” not benefit from it and instead end up shooting children at school?

And the solution being proposed is to “reimagine” policing?!

Yeah, a lot of people do want policing “reimagined” when it comes to these school shootings — we don’t want the “Cowards of Broward” phenomenon that enabled that maniac in Parkland to shoot up his classmates… and an Associated Press report indicates may have happened in Uvalde, too.

But that’s not the “reimagining” that Obama is proposing, is it? Of course not.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
