Whether we’re talking about jihadis or some teenage punk shooting up his neighborhood school, armed little death-dealers from Hell all have something in common. They look for easy pickings where they can do maximum damge.

After all, if someone lets the air out of some little psycho before he can execute his grand plan, and his ignomious name is dumped in the dustbin of history and forgotten even among the other murderous losers he considers his peers, what’s the point of even trying?

This problem is going to keep coming at us so long as society keeps churning out misanthropes with murder on their little minds.

Since these evil weeds keep coming after soft targets where they can do maximum impact, maybe it’s time to talk about making sure they stop seeing schools as low-hanging fruit.

How do you do that?

I’m glad you asked.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
