Canada has no Second Amendment to enshrine a citizen’s intrinsic right to self-defense from intruders or from intrusive governments. So there’s nothing to stop Justin’s authoritarian impulse.

It’s bad enough he’s already been wiping his backside with Canada’s Charter of Rights and freedoms in turning unvaccinated people into prisoners in their own country. But Justin Trudeau is using the occasion of American 2A debates as an opportunity to seize guns from law-abiding Canadians.

Forget the fact that the vast majority of Canadians killed by gunfire are NOT killed by legally-purchased firearms. He hates the very idea that Canadians could own guns… and is bringing Canada down the same road that other tyrannies have followed.

Venezuela, for instance, probably regrets giving up its guns in 2012. There was nobody left to stand against Maduro’s coup, and civilians were at the mercy of his loyalists.

But every cause comes with an effect, and Justin Trudeau’s gun policy announcement is no different.

Several gun stores in British Columbia province saw lines out the door within hours of Trudeau’s announcement.

‘You get a lot of people that as soon as they announce new gun control measures, everyone wants to go in and buy a gun,’ said Dan Shemley, warehouse manager of Great North Precision Canada, which sells firearms in Kelowna, B.C.

Shemley, told CBC’s news show Daybreak South that handgun sales make up roughly 10 to 15 per cent of the store’s business, but the store was now ‘chaotic’ with licensed fire arm operators racing to get what’s left in stock.

Other shops across Canada said they sold out within days.

‘Sales have been brisk,’ said Jen Lavigne, co-owner of That Hunting Store in a strip mall on the outskirts of the capital Ottawa, nestled between a barbershop, a Chinese buffet restaurant, and a conservative lawmaker’s constituency office.

‘We sold 100 handguns, or almost our entire stock, in the last three days, since the prime minister announced the freeze,’ she said, showing off her nearly empty handgun cabinet. — DailyMail

It’s as simple as supply and demand.

Justin’s announcement created some urgency. It’s become a beat-the-clock situation for Canadian gun-buyers.

That just goes to show you that not everyone up that way is a liberal… it only seems that way.

But in light of those extended lockdowns, it still wouldn’t hurt if a lot of them got their hands on Doug’s newest book…

Dear Christian: Your Fear Is Full of Crap

by Doug Giles

Beginning in March 2020, many Christians went into lockdown-freak-out mode.

They “socially distanced” themselves from corporate worship and from pretty much everyone and everything else, except, of course, liquor, and grocery stores.

Uncut, irrational, unbiblical, and not to mention, unconstitutional, fear gripped many churches and church leaders.

Should pastors publicly repent if they obeyed Fauci in regard to how they conducted their ministry instead of adhering to the clear commands of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords?

That’s a legit question, eh?

Get your copy of Dear Christian: Your Fear Is Full of Crap now. Better yet, grab an extra copy for any petrified pastor who dutifully put obedience to the unconstitutional edicts of Mayor McCheese ahead of obedience to the explicit commandments of the LORD God Almighty.
