The Left’s Hypocrisy In Pushing The January 6 Committee Hearing Is Difficult To Stomach After May 2020

It’s propaganda to distract from the Biden-Harris administration’s failure on every front and vilify the Left’s political opposition.

Watch NBC’s Yamiche Alcindor say the quiet part out loud.

These are the same people that cheered on the #Resistance in 2016 when Hillary lost. Spare me.

If you disagree that a riot on January 6 is the most pressing issue facing the country today, then you’re basically the same as a KKK or slavery apologist according to January 6 Committee Chair Bennie Thompson (D-MS).

Which is interesting. Because Rep. Thompson seems to have a twinge of what some might call an insurrection-y spirit…

Tucker Carlson defended the decision by Fox News brass to not air the spectacle.

Grabien News founder, Tom Elliot posted a thread on Twitter that catalogs the misinformation that the Regime Media spread about January 6. He tweeted, “let’s revisit the media’s absolutely awful track record w. this story.” He also posted the receipts.

The first tweet included a video that was a supercut of Democrats and the media pushing the conspiracy theory that January 6 was an “inside job.”

The next video was how the Regime Media spread the absolutely disgusting talking point that Jan. 6 rioters were “cop killers” as they lied about the cause of death of Officer Brian Sicknick. Elliot notes, “Even today the media still claim cops were killed that day.”

The next is about the fake news about a cover-up by Trump citing the “7-hour phone record gap” as a very big deal.

A final couple of tweets explains how the Regime Media continue to get everything wrong about January 6 and don’t seem to care enough to correct the record.

What happened on May 29, 2020, you might ask? It seems like a lifetime ago.

That was when the George Floyd Riots were in full swing all over the country and a mob was attempting to storm the White House with the President, the First Lady, and their teenage son inside.

The Secret Service said that by the end of the riot-filled weekend, over 60 Secret Service Officers and Special Agents had been injured.

Between Friday night and Sunday morning, more than 60 Secret Service Uniformed Division Officers and Special Agents sustained multiple injuries from projectiles such as bricks, rocks, bottles, fireworks and other items. Secret Service personnel were also directly physically assaulted as they were kicked, punched, and exposed to bodily fluids. A total of 11 injured employees were transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Back in May 2020, some protesters even set up what they called the “Black House Autonomous Zone” and vandalized the historic St. John’s Church with the “BHAZ” tag.

That was the same historic church that had its parish hall set on fire by those May George Floyd protesters.

The Regime Media breathlessly reported that Trump had the area cleared for a “photo-op” at the church. That wasn’t true, but you can’t let small things like facts get in the way of a good Regime Media narrative. The reporting fueled the #Resistance outrage which sparked further protests.

Great work, everyone.

Biden got a whole lot of mileage while campaigning by claiming that Trump was “hiding in the bunker” during the fiery but “mostly peaceful” riot in Lafayette Square as though it was his choice.

None of those clips age well now that we have seen that Biden’s “unity” pledge was a lie and his administration truly doesn’t give a crap about what Americans are dealing with.

Don’t forget that this criticism is coming from a guy who campaigned from his basement.

As the Regime Media insists that January 6, 2021 was the “worst threat to democracy since the Civil War” remind them of these dates:

March 1, 1971 — The Weather Underground, a radical leftwing domestic terrorist organization, bombed the Capitol Building causing $300,000 in damage. The Weathermen also bombed the Pentagon in 1972 and the State Department in 1975 as part of their “revolution” to destroy the system.

You may recall that Barack Obama launched his political career with the help of one of the founders of the Weather Underground, Bill Ayers, who had been raising Chesa Boudin, the recently recalled soft-on crime San Francisco District Attorney, who happened to be the son of incarcerated Weather Underground members.

November 7, 1983 — A Communist group that was an off-shoot from the Weather Underground bombed the Capitol building in response to military action in Grenada and Lebanon.

As an interesting aside, on his last day as President, Bill Clinton commuted the sentences of two of the 1983 bombers at the request of Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) who is currently the Chair of the House Judiciary Committee.

But the unarmed Trump supporters that were let into the Capitol and moved the velvet ropes and have been charged with federal trespassing are the “greatest threat to democracy since the Civil War.”

But the Regime says if you don’t believe that, then you’re part of the problem.

And they wonder why Trump said that “Fake News is the enemy of the people.”
