After a years-long history of openly partisan prosecutions, it’s an open question if Biden’s FBI will be able to retain any credibility as a legitimate law enforcement agency. This isn’t helping.

One of the big objections to the FBI’s descent upon Mar-A-Lago was the belief that this was a political action masquerading as a law enforcement action. Trump’s filing cited the over-broad nature of the warrant (see: 4th Amendment).

Many of the boxes that were carried out of Trump’s home — while Trump’s lawyers were forbidden to observe the search, and worse, security had been instructed to turn off security cameras for the duration of the search.

This is the same FBI that pushed back against Judicial Watch’s request for the audio tapes recorded in the White House that Bill Clinton had possession of in his sock drawer. The DC judge affirmed Clinton’s absolute right over classification, and the FBI objected that they had no power to transgress a President’s home to get the only copy of the record that Judicial Watch had been requesting.

Despite all of that, and despite the fact that the Clinton precedent above had affirmed there is no criminal enforcement mechanism through which the National Archives can resolve disputes, Biden’s ‘wingman’ did not hesitate to do so in the case of Donald Trump.

Nobody has disputed the claims of Trump’s legal team that, as recently as June, Trump had been fully cooperative with the archives in resolving and returning any documents that had been improperly packed up and sent to Mar-A-Lago. Trump’s legal team had been instructed to cooperate, and interactions with the archives had been cordial.

That was June, but it is clear that any appearance of good faith on the part of Biden’s administration was superficial at best.

Long before that interaction in June, Biden’s White House had already made decisions to moot Trump’s rights of Executive Privilege. For context, this is the same Democrat administration that has already trampled many instances of Trump’s attorney-client privilege, and which as been excoriated by the ACLU for deliberately violating First Amendment protections of Project Veritas journalists.

John Solomon is reporting that Biden’s involvement in this goes back at least as far as April.

The most complete summary was contained in a lengthy letter dated May 10 that acting National Archivist Debra Steidel Wall sent Trump’s lawyers summarizing the White House’s involvement.
“On April 11, 2022, the White House Counsel’s Office — affirming a request from the Department of Justice supported by an FBI letterhead memorandum — formally transmitted a request that NARA provide the FBI access to the 15 boxes for its review within seven days, with the possibility that the FBI might request copies of specific documents following its review of the boxes,” Wall wrote Trump defense attorney Evan Corcoran.
That letter revealed Biden empowered the National Archives and Records Administration to waive any claims to executive privilege that Trump might assert to block DOJ from gaining access to the documents.
“The Counsel to the President has informed me that, in light of the particular circumstances presented here, President Biden defers to my determination, in consultation with the Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel, regarding whether or not I should uphold the former President’s purported ‘protective assertion of executive privilege,'” Wall wrote. “… I have therefore decided not to honor the former President’s ‘protective’ claim of privilege.”

With Trump seen as the most obvious Republican 2024 Presidential candidate, and with their own shady dealings with Trump evident going back to when he ran against Hillary, the burden of proof is on the FBI that the same dirty tricks are not being played in this unprecedented raid.

With so many of the same cast of characters involved in this raid so prominent in the previous ones … they should not expect the benefit of the doubt.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
