If German Insurance Companies Have Noticed This Injury Trend … What Does America’s Look Like?

Insurance companies are different from so many other big businesses. Everything stands or falls on their getting their numbers right.

Actuary tables. Risk assessments. Casualty data.

All of it goes into the list of considerations as two groups place their bets on exactly how long someone might be expected to live.

The insurance company is placing a bet that the insurance settlements paid by the company will be covered by the monthly fees of the insured. If you get that balance wrong, your company won’t be around for long.

Every so often, we have new information coming along to change the math. A life-saving medical treatment or safety mechanism might make people live longer. Or, a generational shift toward more tech-centered and sedentary lifestyles might threaten to shorten our lifespans.

It’s up to the insurance companies to keep close tabs on these changes so that they don’t suddenly find themselves unable to cover their bets.

COIVID upended a lot of what we thought we know about all sorts of things. Not surprisingly, they have been very interested in any new trends that might show up in the data.

Here’s what they have found:

According to data from Techniker Krankenkasse, the largest German medical insurance company, there were a total of 437,593 insurance claims billed under the four diagnostic codes for vaccine injury in 2021. To put those numbers in perspective, the total numbers billed for a vaccine injury code in the two preceding years was 13,777 and 15,044, respectively. As the Daily Skeptic notes, given that TK insures 11 million people, that means 1 in 23, or 4.3%, had a medical treatment billed for vaccine injury. And that assumes all 11 million were vaccinated. The background vaccination rate in Germany is 78%, although most of the unvaccinated are children, so the rate of injury per vaccinated person is likely even higher (5.1%).
Putting aside confounding factors, but just to provide a rough estimate to open your mind to the scope of this problem, a 4.3% clinical level injury rate, if extrapolated for the 223 million vaccinated in the United Sates, would equal approximately 9.6 million injured Americans. While that number sounds unconscionable, remember that this data harmonizes almost perfectly with the Israeli health ministry survey that found a 4.5% rate of neurological side effects just from those who received booster shots (not total doses, which is likely more).

Germany is not the first country to acknowledge vaccine injuries. As of June 1, 2022 even the lockstep-with-labcoat-narrative voices at Politico were beginning to notice.

One of the points of failure being pointed to is an American program that’s been around for decades.

The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986, as amended, created a unique mechanism for compensating persons injured by vaccinations. The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (the “VICP” or the “Program”) (42 U.S.C. §§ 300aa-10 et seq.) is an alternative to traditional products liability and medical malpractice litigation for persons injured by their receipt of one or more of the standard childhood vaccines.
The VICP is designed to encourage vaccination by providing a streamlined system for compensation in rare instances where an injury results from vaccination. Over the past 30 years, the VICP has succeeded in providing a less adversarial, less expensive, and less time-consuming system of recovery than the traditional tort system that governs medical malpractice, personal injury, and product liability cases. More than 6,000 people have been paid in excess of $3.9 billion (combined) since the Program’s 1988 inception.
DepartmentOfJustice

A pair of federal programs compensating people who suffer injuries from vaccines and pandemic treatments are now facing so many claims that thousands of people may not receive payment for their injuries any time soon.
…A second program designed for vaccines and other treatments created or used during pandemics has seen unsustainable growth. Between 2010 and 2020, the Countermeasure Injury Compensation Program received 500 complaints. In the two years since Covid-19 appeared, it has received over 8,000 complaints.
More than 5,000 of those are directly related to the Covid-19 vaccines, with injuries ranging from a sore shoulder to death, according to the Health Resources and Services Administration. An additional 3,000 complaints related to everything from drugs and devices to the failure of hospital staff to limit infection spread have also been filed.
— Politico

The context of the Politico piece is relevant because it hinged on a concern that failure to compensate Americans for vaccine injuries (which they were careful to categorize as rare) might magnify vaccine hesitancy.

What we have here are two different understandings of the numbers. One is a political website that habitually defends Biden talking points. The other is a German insurance company obligated to cover the costs of injuries.

Unless American physiology is somehow very different from German physiology, somebody’s numbers are wrong. This might be a good time to have a government and medical industry that hadn’t been caught laying to us ‘for our own good’ with the goal of those lies being to compel us to comply with government demands whether or not they aligned with our own best interests.

Dear Christian: Your Fear Is Full of Crap

by Doug Giles

Beginning in March 2020, many Christians went into lockdown-freak-out mode. Uncut, irrational, unbiblical, and not to mention, unconstitutional, fear gripped many churches and church leaders. Forced to choose between obeying the Word of God or the edict of man, most Western Churches buckled. We even saw it here in First Amendment-protected America.

The Apostle Peter buckled to fear on the night of Christ’s crucifixion. But he learned his lesson and lived the rest of his life bold as a lion. How can the church ‘go and do likewise’?
