Exposé On Vanderbilt’s Pediatric Gender Clinic Sparks Action By Lawmakers

Tennessee lawmakers are taking action after damning videos about Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s pediatric gender clinic were posted online.

Tucker Carlson covered the incredible act of journalism by the Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh on his show on Wednesday.

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee has called for an investigation into VUMC’s pediatric gender clinic after Walsh’s exposé.

“The ‘pediatric transgender clinic’ at Vanderbilt University Medical Center raises serious moral, ethical and legal concerns,” said Lee in a statement to The Daily Wire. “We should not allow permanent, life-altering decisions that hurt children or policies that suppress religious liberties, all for the purpose of financial gain. We have to protect Tennessee children, and this warrants a thorough investigation.”

Walsh announced that he met with state lawmakers who are now putting forward legislation to end the mutilation and castration of gender-confused children under the guise of “affirmative care.”

This all comes after Walsh posted an epic Twitter thread on what he and his team managed to dig up on Vanderbilt’s gender clinic for kids in a week or so.

He lays out what “gender-affirming care” for minors looks like at VUMC — chemical castration, drug dependence, and mutilating the chests of young girls by performing double mastectomies.

He also posted a video showing that the motivation for this is profit and the recurring visits for “follow-up care” that these surgeries require.

It’s ghoulish.

One of the most damning videos shows that Vanderbilt’s pediatric gender clinic will crush objections to so-called “gender affirmative care” — specifically citing those based on religious belief.

How is that legal? At the very least, this should trigger court challenges.

Besides, the same argument could be made against Dr. Clayton and her ilk as more and more detransitioners are saying that the “affirmative care” they were given rushed them into chemical and surgical transition with permanent, life-altering changes. These medical “experts” in gender transition will need to live with that, too.

Walsh adds that Vanderbilt has decided to ensure that the gender confusion is “affirmed” in both kids and adults by sending trans activists to accompany patients on medical appointments.

Have you ever noticed that a lot of these “gender activists” are leftist, white women? It’s just an interesting thing to note.

Walsh’s thread goes on to show that they are quite willing to give cross-sex hormones to 13-year-olds.

They’re also willing to cut off healthy breast tissue of teen girls.

Vanderbilt’s response to the thread was telling.

They also scrubbed its website of any reference to the pediatric gender clinic.

It turns out one of the doctors at VUMC’s gender clinic is treating children as young as 6 — that’s First Grade.

This path to lifelong medicalization is being pushed on children. Before “gender-affirming care” became the standard, the vast majority of gender dysphoric children would grow out of their dysphoria and accept biological reality once they passed puberty. Many would turn out to be gay but didn’t know how to express that prior to puberty.

As Libs of Tik Tok points out, many of these “gender specialists” have drunk the Kool-Aid and will push for affirmation and will go behind parents backs to do it.

Walsh is being targeted by Lib journos for reporting on the thing that theses hospitals and gender clinics have been promoting for the past few years.

He’s probably also being targeted because Lib journos don’t really like it when conservatives expose them as lazy, lying frauds that uncritically carry water for the extremist progressive left.

In another thread, the bearded, flannel-wearing culture warrior points out that the arguments made by the Gender Gestapo don’t even make any sense.

He’s right.

Matt Walsh isn’t backing down anytime soon, and that’s such a good thing.

He’s a hero for taking on this issue and using his platform to protect kids.

Walsh is also showing conservatives how important it is to fight for what’s right.
