What kind of tinfoil hat science-denying conspiracy is this coming from the “Party of Science”?
Stacey Abrams has added science denial to her election denial.
Yes, the obese, childless erotica writer has thoughts on fetal development and it is one of the most unhinged, unscientific piles of crap ever to be spoken by a politician.
No, really.
Abrams says in the video, “There is no such thing as a heartbeat at six weeks. It is a manufactured sound designed to convince people that men have the right to take control of a woman’s body.”
She says this to defend her abortion extremism.
Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams: "There is no such thing as a heartbeat at six weeks. It is a manufactured sound designed to convince people that men have the right to take control of a woman's body."

This is what feminism can do to you!
The eugenicist founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, would be so proud.
Oh, and by the way, Abrams is 100% wrong.
According to the website Medical News Today, “The heart of an embryo starts to beat from around 5–6 weeks of pregnancy. Also, it may be possible to see the first visible sign of the embryo, known as the fetal pole, at this stage.” It adds, “It may be possible to hear the heartbeat of an embryo from the fifth week of pregnancy.”
The site even provides a handy-dandy chart on fetal heart development.
Perhaps the childless Abrams isn’t aware, but there are different types of ultrasounds.
A transvaginal ultrasound is an internal procedure to monitor the developing baby in the first trimester. It’s sometimes used to rule out possible ectopic pregnancy, monitor fetal development in women that have had pregnancy complications or miscarriages in the past, or just to check on the development of the baby. According to WebMD, this kind of ultrasound is “more accurate” than an abdominal ultrasound early in pregnancy.
In the early stages of pregnancy, usually before 11 weeks, a transvaginal ultrasound can help check the embryo’s heartbeat.
A transvaginal scan is internal. The doctor inserts a device into the vagina to monitor the development of the embryo. However, until roughly the 7th week of pregnancy, the heartbeat of the embryo can be difficult to detect.

But Stacey Abrams has Democrat privilege and that means she can say the most ridiculous things imaginable and she won’t ever be called out on it by journalists, whose job it is to question the assertions made by people seeking higher office, or even the so-called “fact-checkers” who are tasked with debunking false narratives and disinformation.
This is why it’s so important to have a robust right-wing media sphere that will point out just how insane Abram’s claim is.
Right-wing Twitter did not disappoint.

"Trust the science."
Except when it comes to fetal development. https://t.co/dZyriWyNJd

This childless woman is apparently of the learned opinion that your heart didn't start beating until after you were born. https://t.co/rvJGfNJtCB

If the Left's COVID response didn't prove that they're not the party of science, @staceyabrams's comments definitely do. It doesn't get much more science denial-y than this. https://t.co/sof9Zw1WY1

Stacey Abrams went from election denier to life denier. https://t.co/oRqimkUDnO

Don’t hold your breath for what should be a tidal wave of fact checks on this ghoulish, science-denying lie. #GAGOV https://t.co/XoRYCfR4r0

Stacey Abrams is pushing a theory here that ultrasound machines, used in hospitals now all over the world, were designed by a cabal of men, to manufacture a sound beat on purpose, in order to convince women to keep unwanted pregnancies. This is beyond QAnon shit. https://t.co/4pOoUJRt52

I dunno, I kind of think this one is just a bit bigger than JFK JR is still alive. pic.twitter.com/7CaoonsRPZ

Imagine a journalist asking @staceyabrams who manufactures this sound, and how it's manufactured. Wouldn't that be something? https://t.co/BlH4Eq0gLe

This woman not only again proves she is a total idiot or a liar (or both), but also shows how gullible her supporters are. #Sickening. https://t.co/6Y6Rt50fmJ

Legit the most bonkers abortion disinfo I’ve ever heard.

Women who have miscarried in trimester 1, and were alerted because they didn’t hear a heartbeat, would like a word. https://t.co/vsincG4rww

So @BrianKempGA, here's an ad idea:
– sonogram of a 6 week old's heart beating for 20 seconds uninterrupted.
– Then Abrams' statement
– Then a group of doctors just shaking their heads and saying "No" https://t.co/dgCGK9aRz4— Fusilli Spock (@awstar11) September 22, 2022
Let’s go to a medical expert, shall we?
Radiologist Pradheep Shankar posted a thread debunking the 12 seconds of absolute nonsense spewed by Abrams.
And look how Democrats are perfectly happy with @staceyabrams spreading scientific misinformation to young people (who are nodding along, even though they are being told a lie).
Apparently misinformation only matters when it is inconvenient?

Ultrasound picks up density and motion. It can certainly pick up cardiac contraction. And furthermore, ultrasound does NOT pick up electrical activity (that is another bit of misinformation).

If you want to support abortion, fine.
But don't lie about what you are doing.
— Pradheep J. Shanker (@Neoavatara) September 22, 2022
Now that was an epic takedown.
Here’s the thing, though… I personally don’t think that Abrams really believes that a six-week fetal heartbeat doesn’t exist. She’s just using that as an excuse to push her ghoulish, extreme pro-abortion agenda.
It’s not about being honest with voters — it has never been that way for her.
She’s lying to an entire roomful of people because: (a) she thinks voters are stupid; and (b) she knows that she’s going to get away with it.
Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.
Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.
This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
