IT’S SCIENCE: New Stats Spell BAD News For Those ‘Pandemic Of The Unvaccinated’ Zealots

Not long ago, lefty journos were calling for ‘amnesty’ for all the bare-knuckle lockdown zealots who pushed mandates and fired the non-compliant. Studies like this are why those appeals fell flat.

It doesn’t take people long to adjust to a ‘new normal’. That’s why reference points can be so valuable.

Most of us have turned the page on the major trappings of that pandemic period. Schools have reopened. People are showing up at work in person again. Airports re packed. Even cruise ships are finally back on the ocean.

Masks are mainly the domain of the COVID try-hards and so many people have gotten sick and recovered from the WuFlu that we don’t even see it as the big bad scary monster anymore. To the extent that it was a factor in election campaigns, it was used as a benchmark for measuring success or failure of leadership. DeSantis, for example, used his pandemic record to help establish his brand as a defender of freedom.

But not so long ago, we were being scolded by the same bureaucrats and elected officials who used their connections with Big Tech to kneecap anyone who dared question or contradict their edicts.

We remember being scolded by the President himself in December of 2021:

“We are looking at a winter of severe illness and death for the unvaccinated — for themselves, their families and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm,” he said.
The US president urged Americans to get their booster shots, saying it was “past time” to get one and prevent schools and businesses from shutting down.

And a couple of months before that, Joe put on his stern face another time to scold that object of his loathing: the unvaccinated.

President Joe Biden shared a message to unvaccinated Americans as the nation continues to fight rising coronavirus cases and deaths. He implored them to get the vaccine, noting “we’ve been patient, but our patience is wearing thin.” — CNN

The context of that was when he tried to unconstitutionally strongarm American businesses into being the defacto enforcer of Joe’s Vax mandates… ‘or else’.

Naturally, that effort lost in court.

Whether it was Fauci, the press, the president, or some mask-wearing zealot in HR the refrain was on everybody’s lips. Those dirty, rotten, no-good, unvaxxed people are going to kill us all.

Uh-huh. Sure Jan. Have you got a study to prove that claim? No? Then tell your story walking, pal.

The people calling for amnesty are the ones who had an unfailing certainty that they were right and everyone else was wrong and that they were morally superior to anyone who wasn’t like them. The hostility, scorn, and coercive demands on your personal liberties were everywhere. And like so many jackboot thugs, they wrapped it all in the purest of altruistic motives: you don’t want granny to die, do you?

We’ve watched so many of their ‘scientific certainties’ fall one by one like dominoes, now that hard data has had a chance to catch up to the narrative.

Here’s one more: As of August, we crossed a significant milestone in COVID cases.

Americans who were either vaccinated or boosted against COVID-19 constituted the majority of deaths from the virus for the first time in August, according to analysis from the Kaiser Family Foundation conducted on behalf of the Washington Post.
“Fifty-eight percent of coronavirus deaths in August were people who were vaccinated or boosted,” the Post reported. “In September 2021, vaccinated people made up just 23 percent of coronavirus fatalities. In January and February this year, it was up to 42 percent.”
Kaiser Family Foundation Vice President Cynthia Cox acknowledged that the rise in deaths among vaccinated Americans meant “[w]e can no longer say this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated.”
— JustTheNews

This seems a good time to bring up the supposedly apolitical Associated Press and a fact check they ran on a Joe Biden comment. Both Biden’s claim and the AP spin aged like milk.

BIDEN: “If you’re vaccinated, you’re not going to be hospitalized, you’re not going to be in the IC unit, and you’re not going to die.” — town hall.
THE FACTS: His remark accurately captures the strong protection the COVID-19 vaccines provide as cases spike among people who have resisted the shots. But it overlooks the rare exceptions.
— Associated Press, July 21, 2021

Strong protections. Rare exceptions.

Uh-huh. Sure. If you’re able to square that spicy bit of pro-Pfizer propaganda with the recent Kaiser data, you’re welcome to explain it.

When even the ‘news wires’ are shilling for a particular paradigm, we’ve got nobody out there keeping them honest except the citizen journalists asking all the inconvenient questions.

Dear Christian: Your Fear Is Full of Crap

by Doug Giles

Beginning in March 2020, many Christians went into lockdown-freak-out mode. Uncut, irrational, unbiblical, and not to mention, unconstitutional, fear gripped many churches and church leaders. Forced to choose between obeying the Word of God or the edict of man, most Western Churches buckled. We even saw it here in First Amendment-protected America.

The Apostle Peter buckled to fear on the night of Christ’s crucifixion. But he learned his lesson and lived the rest of his life bold as a lion. How can the church ‘go and do likewise’?
