To look at most Christian art — and a lot of Christian dudes these days, you might get the wrong idea bout Jesus.
If Jesus were shlepping the planet here and now some people actually believe he’d be more comfortable getting a manicure on a spa day than he would breaking a sweat hiking in the trackless wild of Arizona or maybe turning a wrench under the hood of an F-150.
But that’s not the guy you meet in Scripture.
And it’s absolutely NOT the guy we meet when we come face-to-face with the Lord our Maker.
That soft-focus picture of Jesus is due for a reboot… and an interview like this one is a good place to start.
Sure would be a shame if you shared it far and wide…
