Judge Invited To Speak At Stanford — Given A Maoist Struggle Session By Students And Staff (VIDEO)
Stuart Kyle Duncan is a Fifth Circuit judge who was invited to address law students at Stanford. When the audience turned hostile, Judge Duncan requested a faculty member to restore order… it ended badly.
The activist left is increasingly hostile to anyone who doesn’t march lockstep with their private worldview. Even wet-behind-the-ears know-nothings presume to lecture people with actual life experience in bad faith for no other reason than there are enough of them to shout them down.
When he tried to speak to the crowd he was invited by the Federalist Society to address, the judge was shouted down, unable to say more than one or two words at a time.
Stanford Law students shouted down Fifth Circuit appellate judge Kyle Duncan while he was trying to speak.
When he asked for an administrator to control the situation, Stanford’s “associate dean of diversity, equity, and inclusion” got up and lectured him for nearly 10 minutes pic.twitter.com/tjlUPOIMmQ

When the judge called for a faculty member to rein in the unruly students, the staff member present was the DEI dean Tirien Steinbach. Instead of quieting the crowd so the judge could speak, she used the force of their activist bullying to take the podium herself and publicly harass and humiliate the judge, who was an invited guest of the school, for 10 minutes.
Then Steinbach pretended to stand for free speech and invited those who wanted to listen to remain behind and do so respectfully, and those who do not, should leave. At that point, the unruly mob of would-be lawyers who had commondeered the meeting in the first place filed out, having accomplished everything the set out to do.
The judge, when asked about the now-viral video, said those students behaved like dogsh^t.
Now, in an interview with the Washington Free Beacon, Duncan is calling on the school to discipline the students who disrupted his talk and to fire the school’s associate dean of diversity, equity, and inclusion, who stepped in during the event to chastise him and deliver what the judge described as a “bizarre therapy session from hell.”
Duncan’s remarks come after nearly a hundred students at Stanford Law School disrupted his remarks in brazen violation of Stanford University’s free speech policies.
…Duncan was escorted out of a back door by federal marshals, who told him, he said, that they were there to “protect” him.
The meltdown followed a weeklong pressure campaign against members of the Federalist Society, who were personally named and shamed by campus activists. –FreeBeacon
The University gave an apology described by Jonathan Turley as “commendable in its words of regret, but conspicuous in its failure to promise any action against those who shutdown this event. It is like expressing regret over the sinking of the Titanic without addressing the design flaw…”
With their deep insult to civility still fresh in our minds they doubled down on the idiocy.
Their claims to be solidly in support of free speech don’t hold up under scrutiny. In fact, according to the Twitter files, they seem to have played a direct role in silencing public dissent.
