TWITTER FILES: Taxpayer Dollars Are Being Spent On The Blacklisting Of American Citizens

This week’s Twitter Files drop continues with the theme of Government-funded groups using dubious practices to make lists of sites it wanted to see shut down.

This time, we turn our attention to the Global Engagement Center. Matt explains in this thread (with screenshot evidence) why that’s a big deal.

The word ‘misinformation’ plays a big role in a project that can be traced back to Obama’s last year in office and our ‘Intelligence Community’.

There’s a group that keeps showing up everywhere, isn’t it?

The first tweet is a live link, the rest are screenshots. Since it’s about 50 tweets long, we’ll let the rest speak for itself. (But if you’re just skimming through, be sure to stop and look at tweets  # 9-11, 19, 22, 26-28, & especially 46).

The part about election interference in an Alabama senate race and the Pentagon giving $80 dollars that were passed along to a number of redacted(!) entities are both worth a mention, too.

[Tweet six was deleted for whatever reason.]

[There was no #24 listed in this thread.]

[Twenty-nine is similarly absent.]
