LMAO: Anderson Cooper Has A TOTAL MELTDOWN Over Trump’s CNN Town Hall

NOTE: This article may include commentary reflecting the author’s position.

The primetime cable news host told his audience that they were justified in their outrage and anger and it would be understandable if they never watched the network again.

The Daily Mail reports:

Anderson Cooper said comments made by Donald Trump during his CNN town hall on Wednesday night were ‘disturbing’ but defended the network’s decision to give him a platform.
During the opening monologue to his CNN show Anderson Cooper 360 on Thursday, Cooper told viewers that not listening to Trump won’t make him ‘go away’…
…In 70 minutes of tense sparring with Cooper’s CNN colleague Kaitlan Collins, Trump called January 6 a ‘beautiful day’, wouldn’t say whether he wanted Ukraine or Russia to win the war and branded Collins a ‘nasty person’ for pressing him on why he took so long to recover classified documents from Mar-a-Lago.
That appearance on CNN – his first since 2016 – produced a series of controversial moments, many of which Cooper dealt with head-on.

“Many of you have expressed deep anger and disappointment. Many of you are upset that someone who attempted to destroy our democracy was invited to sit on a stage in front of a crowd of Republican voters to answer questions and predictably continued to spew lie after lie after lie, and I get it. It was disturbing,’ Cooper said at the beginning of his show on Thursday.

He then repeated some of what he thinks his audience found so “disturbing” — calling the cop that killed Ashli Babbitt a “thug” and insinuating it was because of racism, calling moderator Kaitlin Collins “nasty”, and “smearing” the woman that took him to court for rape that was so long ago that she even can’t remember what year it was, and defending the January 6 rioters, even though CNN has said that rioting is perfectly okay even as long as it’s “fiery but mostly peaceful.”

Cooper failed to mention that the reason that Trump spoke about those issues was because they were brought up by Collins. The exception to that would be his answer to an audience member asking about pardons for J6 defendants who have been treated very differently than any of the BLM and Antifa protesters.

Still, he decided to lecture his audience about why they need to put up with these horrible Republicans.

“Many of you think CNN shouldn’t have given him any platform to speak and I understand the anger about that — giving him the audience, the time, I get that,” he added.

“But this is what I also get; the man you were so disturbed to see and hear from last night – that man is the frontrunner for the Republican nomination for president,” he said.

“You have every right to be outraged and angry and never watch this network again but do you think staying in your silo and only listening to people you agree with is going to make that person go away?” said Cooper in his opening monologue on Thursday night.

What a joke this guy is!

Maybe he should give this speech to whoever makes the hiring decisions over at CNN because the network seems to prefer to bring on out-of-touch Republicans who no longer understand the base and sideline anyone who would dare push back even a bit on the rabid anti-Trumpism over there.

Leftists were positively furious that CNN aired a Republican Town Hall event featuring former President Donald Trump.

Heaven forbid that there are actually GOP voters out there that want to hear what the leading Republican contender and former President has to say about issues affecting the country since Biden took office. Of course, that’s not what GOP voters got on Wednesday night — they got Kaitlin Collins tossing out red meat for the Leftist and Never-Trump crowds.

This was supposed to be a town hall for Republican voters, and the issues they are concerned about were completely ignored by Collins, who it would seem was trying to debate Trump rather than moderate a town hall.

Rep. Byron Donalds of Florida was the only Republican on CNN’s post-town hall panel and he dropped some epic truthbombs right to Anderson Cooper’s face. It was a thing of beauty.

Check it out:

Well, that might be the last time Rep. Donalds gets invited onto CNN!

Let’s not forget that Anderson Cooper who is clutching his pearls over the Trump town hall had moderated a Presidential town hall with Joe Biden in October 2021. Cooper tossed softballs to the President and even stepped in to help Biden when he forgot the Long Beach port when we were in the middle of the supply chain crisis coinciding with Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg’s extended parental leave.

That CNN town hall was chock-a-block full of what might be called “misinformation” and “disinformation” including the entire farce about “social distancing” which disappeared once they were on a commercial break.

Twitter user Maze decided to take Cooper’s Thursday night monologue and fix it.

Well, that’s much more accurate, isn’t it?

The Left just can’t handle that other people might see some things in a different way than they do. They’ll mock you, smear you, try to get you fired, harass you, and target you.

Here at ClashDaily, we still call people like Cooper “Libs”, but it’s an ironic name like calling a short guy “Stretch.” The “Libs” today aren’t liberal in anything — unless it’s spending other people’s money.

You can watch the full video of Cooper’s meltdown here:

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
