In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks, (and hey, no judgment there — this Biden economy is hitting all of us! Speaking of, check out our new Tucker Carlson Collection in the ClashDaily store.) Tucker Carlson’s wildly popular show that aired on Fox News was suddenly canceled without a specific reason given.
Over the last week or so, a few videos and texts were leaked in a weird attempt to smear Carlson, but that campaign hasn’t been very successful in separating Carlson from his audience or making him unemployable elsewhere.
Carlson has been offered several lucrative deals from Rumble, The Blaze, The Daily Wire, and others comparable to what he made at Fox prior to the leaks, but his contract with Fox hasn’t yet been terminated.
Fox News obviously wouldn’t want the guy with the biggest cable news audience ever to sign on with a competitor.
Now Carlson has lawyered up and is taking on Fox News.
The network is clearly trying to silence him until his contract expires in January 2025 — after the next Presidential election.
That’s not going to happen … thanks to Elon Musk.
On Tuesday, Tucker released a video on Twitter that his show would be relaunched on Twitter. It quickly received millions of views — exponentially more than his Fox News show had on its best night.
This reboot of Tucker’s show wouldn’t have been possible if the censorious Leftists were still running Twitter.
It’s happening because a really rich guy who likes memes paid $44 billion to protect free speech after Twitter censored a dumb joke by the Babylon Bee.
(I’ll bet the Libs are regretting that decision, eh?)
Tucker and Elon actually value free speech, which is unfortunately a very rare thing in media these days.
Despite some Leftists speculating that there was some sort of mutually beneficial exclusive deal, Musk clarified in a tweet that this wasn’t the case.
“On this platform, unlike the one-way street of broadcast, people are able to interact, critique and refute whatever is said. And, of course, anything misleading will get @CommunityNotes,” wrote Musk quote tweeting Carlson’s announcement video.
“I also want to be clear that we have not signed a deal of any kind whatsoever. Tucker is subject to the same rules & rewards of all content creators,” he added.
“Rewards means subscriptions and advertising revenue share (coming soon), which is a function of how many people subscribe and the advertising views associated with the content,” wrote Musk.
“I hope that many others, particularly from the left, also choose to be content creators on this platform,” he concluded.
On this platform, unlike the one-way street of broadcast, people are able to interact, critique and refute whatever is said.

This pairing up is going to do some real damage to the ridiculous gatekeeping that happens in the media. It was already beginning with Community Notes fact-checking the fact-checkers.
The Regime Media won’t like that one bit.
