WATCH: ‘Should Minors Be Allowed To Undergo Sex Change Operations?’ — West Hollywood Vs. Compton

NOTE: This article may include commentary reflecting the author’s position.

This Prager U video shows that even in the blue state of California, there’s a vast difference of opinion within an hour’s drive.

The debate about whether or not to allow so-called “gender-affirming care” for children is a hot topic right now.

Last fall, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed SB-107 into law — it’s a bill that makes California a “sanctuary” state for transgender youth and their families who are being “persecuted” in their home states for wanting so-called “gender-affirming” care.

Cali State Senator Scott Weiner was thrilled that the bill was signed into law.

It should be noted that this is the same creepy State Senator that co-sponsored SB-145 which was signed into law in 2020. That bill essentially lowered the penalty for same-sex statutory rape by not requiring mandatory sex offender registration for “non-forcible sodomy, oral copulation, and sexual penetration with a minor” unless there is “a ten-year gap between the minor and the other person” and leaving that decision up to the judge. The age of consent in California is 18.

It would seem that Senator Weiner is completely out of step with a bunch of voters in Compton who have very strong feelings about medical transition of children.

The top comment on the YouTube video so far is, “The girl who said ‘We shouldn’t even be asking the question’ hit the nail on the head. 100% 👍”

“Not surprised the people from Compton won this one…they have good old common sense,” wrote another.

“And suddenly I would feel safer going to Compton than to West Hollywood… wow,” responded someone else.

Another user quoted the guy that said, “we shouldn’t even be doing it for grown men” then added, “my dude speaking facts.”

Most of the comments are in a similar vein.

The reason why is obvious — we are hearing more and more stories of regret from people who suffered from gender confusion as a child or teen, had some “gender-affirming” procedures done, and now regret it.

Many of those kids have undiagnosed mental health conditions or are on the autism spectrum.

Kids do all sorts of things in their teen years as they try to figure out who they are.

Dressing like an idiot for a while or getting a stupid haircut are temporary things.

Just imagine being locked into an identity that you chose at 14 for the rest of your life with no way out… I have no idea what you were like at 14, but I would find that a nightmare!

That’s what’s happening right now because those 14-year-old girls who learned about gender ideology from Tumbler are now in their early 20s and they can’t reverse what has been done.

Here’s one woman coming to that realization.

That is just heartbreaking.

Maybe those wokescolds in West Hollywood should get out of their bubble and have a chat with some of those folks in Compton.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
