How The Left Is FREAKING OUT About The Faith Of The New House Speaker
The path to Dems' dream of a one-party state requires convincing the world that Republicans are 'extreme'

If you’ve been following along, there is nothing the left can do that is beyond the pale and reprehensible, and almost nothing the right can do that the left can’t weaponize against us.
That’s the dirty little secret with why information control in the media and in Big Tech is so critically important to the Democrats.
For anyone paying attention, they tipped their hand on this back in 2018. But we didn’t take them seriously. We covered it here: Leftists Want A ‘New Civil War’ – This Post Is Disturbing
Their plan was never to have clashes between civilians. It involved ‘capturing’ the institutions and levers of power in government to force blue-state ideas down the throats of the entire nation, whether we wanted them or not.
It was based on the model of how they captured California and flipped it blue and intend to do the same across the country.
We don’t take any of the left’s ‘bipartisan’ nonsense seriously. That’s part of the reason why. And right on cue, as if to prove the point, we have the left’s response to the new House Speaker.
When it was McCarthy, the left had nothing good to say about him, despite the fact that he was about as middle-of-the-road Conservative as you might get. Then came the motion to vacate. Jordan was nominatated and the left sharpened their knives with all the reasons why he was too extreme. Some on the left tried to push Liz freaking Cheney as a reasonable ‘compromise’ candidate.
Right. The supposed conservative who has praised Biden’s ridiculous and disastrous presidency would obviously represent the interests of the right.
Eventually, Mike Johnson emerged as the successful candidate and it took a minute for them to coordinate their lines of attack. Of course he’s going to be ‘extremist’ — but what sort of an ‘extremist’ will he be?
The ‘bigot’ angle won’t track very well with a white family that served as foster-parents to a black youth with a troubled childhood.
Nor is he a firebrand like Jim Jordan whose words are easily framed as idealogical and combative. If anything, he has a reputation for measured responses and NOT raising his voice.
But that sort of thing has never stopped the left’s attacks in the past. They just have to find another angle of attack.
They have done exactly that. They don’t like his faith.
Last night after being elected candidate for Speaker, Congressman Mike Johnson asked the Republican conference to bow their heads and join him in prayer.

In an interview with Hannity, he explained, if you want to know my worldview, go pick up a Bible.
Billy Graham’s son Franklin Graham had this to say about the announcement and the call to pray.
The left was far less receptive. As one example among many:
These are the same leftists who can’t denounce Rashida Tlaib as a bigoted spreader of terrorist propaganda when she insists that Jews bombed a hospital when even the news sources that first wrote those headlines have accepted as facts details that explicitly refute those claims.
The left could make a similar shorthand by invoking, say Ibraim X Kendi’s book to describe their own worldview. Unfortunately, he’s under a lot of scrutiny for being an absolute fraud at the moment.
But heaven forfend that a Christian has Christian convictions… despite the Constitution making it clear that such a religious test ought NEVER to form a line of discrimination on the part of our federal government.
The same party that has been Simping for Iran since the Obama years — and defending Muslim Brotherhood-aligned Hamas even now — has the audacity to be trotting out the ‘theocrat’ label against a standard-issue Baptist.
Some lefties — and the sites they run — are so wrapped up in sexually-charged politics that they took an explicit reference to prayer to mean some kind of sexual innuendo referring to oral sex. For example:
Usually when a new speaker of the House is elected, they have major plans to unveil, recontextualizing the House’s work. Speaker Mike Johnson, however, had some other priorities. First thing on his agenda? Make a weird joke about his wife.
[…]
“I want to thank my dedicated wife of almost 25 years, Kelly. She’s not here, we couldn’t get a flight in time. This happened sort of suddenly,” Johnson said.
“She’s spent the last couple of weeks on her knees in prayer to the Lord. And, um, she’s a little worn out,” Johnson smirked.
“We all are,” he added. —NewRepublic
Vanity Fair writer, Molly Jung Fast was even more crass about it. with a little help from Monica Lewinsky.
Then again, she probably doesn’t even realize the origins of Vanity Fair (Pilgrim’s Progress), or how perfectly her magazine embodies the godless vapidity that metaphor was intend to portray.
It looks like they’ve settled on a preffered angle of attack — at least for now.
Let’s see how closely the media (and other leftists) stick to that anti-Christian script in their future denunciations of him.
