Vivek Using Own Money To Bring Planeload Of Americans Safely Home Again

The kneejerk response of every leftwing politician is to introduce a shiny new federal program to address every problem under the sun. Just throw more money at it.

It sounds ‘compassionate’ and had the veneer of ‘doing something’ about a stated problem. But more often than not, either it fails to solve the problem it was designed to address or (even worse!) it creates a bigger problem than the one it was intended to solve.

But before the era of big government came along, we had a different approach to unexpected crises. Communities would come together, bring whatever ideas, resources and personnel they had to bear on solving the problem, and once it was solved, everyone could go on with their day.

Any ‘evacuation plans’ the federal government has suggested for Americans abroad have been a hot mess. It has taken the individual action of individual people to step up and help solve this crisis.

Florida Congressman Cory Mills hopped a flight to Israel to help shepherd Americans home again while their own government left so many of them to their own devices.

Cory Mills rescued nearly 100 Americans out of Israel, caught a flight back for another 219 Americans and then got home in time to vote for Jim Jordan on the House floor today.

DeSantis has empowered his administration to arrange flights out of the war zone, as well.

A second flight bringing more Americans who were stranded in Israel back home has arrived.

Vivek, too, is helping the evacuation effort. He’s kicking in his own money to get an entire planeload of Americans home again… and he’s challenging others who can afford such efforts to step up and do the same.

Mills used his organizational skills.
DeSantis used the government resources at his disposal.
