CNN Runs Puff Piece About Hamas Terrorist … Twitter Takes Them To TRUTHTOWN

Score another big win for Community Notes

On the same day that Brian Stelter tried to dunk on Fox News for getting ahead of the Rainbow Bridge story… CNN shows their true colors.

CNN’s ‘human interest’ story was actual Hamas Propaganda

Here is a story CNN ran about one of the Israeli prisoners being exchanged for the civilians who were kidnapped after being brutalized and watching their loved ones being raped, maimed, tortured and killed by Hamas terrorists.

They found a young woman who has been held in an Israeli prison since she was sixteen. She’s being released in exchange for some of the Israelis who were held by their kidnappers since 10/7.

Part of the agreement between Israel and Hamas involves the release of 150 Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails.

@nimaelbagir spoke with one mother who is hoping she may soon see her long imprisoned daughter once again.

She was detained since she was sixteen years old. ‘How awful’, right? — Hold that thought. You may wan the rest of the story before you make up your mind.

Did CNN happen to say why she was being held? No. If they did that, the puff piece would no longer paint Israel as moral monsters who throw children into prison. (IMPLIED: “See? Just like Hamas did!”)

The clip goes on to list the number of Palestinian women (83) and teens (380) being held as prisoners by the State of Israel.

What does the clip leave out? It makes no mention of the crime that landed her in prison.

Fortunately, Community Notes filled in that missing context.

That didn’t even wade into the role played by Hamas in attaching financial motivation to participating in suicide attacks against Jews.

The Palestinian Authority Martyrs Fund is a fund operated by the Palestinian Authority (PA) that pays monthly cash stipends to the families of Palestinians killed, injured, or imprisoned while carrying out politically motivated violence against Israel. The fund also makes disbursements to innocent bystanders killed during violent events and Palestinians imprisoned in Israeli jails for ordinary crimes. In 2016, the PA paid out about NIS 1.1 billion (US$303 million) in stipends and other benefits to the families of so-called “martyrs”.

Critics often call the fund “pay for slay” and blame the payments for encouraging terrorism. In 2007, the World Bank argued that the fund did “not seem justified from a welfare or fiscal perspective.” By 2014, mounting criticism of the payments led to the PA transferring management of the Martyrs Fund to the Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission, of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), which now disburses the government-funding to recipients and their families. – Wiki

Didn’t Stelter blast Fox News for biased reporting on the very same day? Weird. What did he have to say about CNN’s obvious bias here? Nothing? Hmmm. Weird.

The reason CNN has lost both Independant AND Republican voters is simple. They’ve got a credibility crisis. They have been busted far too many times on the wrong side of a story.

Covington Kids? Jussie Smollett? Crossfire Hurricane? Russian bounties? Hunter’s laptop? Mostly peaceful?

The list of examples goes on and on.

It’s become obvious to all that they are more committed to telling a particular narrative than they are to laying out the actual facts.

Say what you want about the biases of FoxNews and MSNBC, but at least they don’t hide them. CNN, on the other hand, pretends to be an ‘impartial’ news source.

They got caught pushing propaganda during the 2020 election cycle in 3 different Project Veritas videos: part one, part two, part three. They specifically laid out their strategy to wound Trump to give Biden an advantage. There’s also this: BOOM! CNN Insider Says Jeff Zucker’s PERSONAL VENDETTA Against Trump Influences Coverage

The only imaginable path back to credibilty — if they aren’t already a lost cause — is to start telling the truth. Even the truth their politically-connected friends find embarrassing.

Of course, it will never happen. But that will be the price of admission to regain any respectability they may once have enjoyed.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
