Did Biden’s Buttersoft Reaction To Iran Proxies Embolden Pirates To Steal A Cargo Ship?
Under Trump they were listed as terrorists... dropping that was part of Biden's appeasement approach
Is Joe Biden’s ‘give the bully your lunch money’ approach to Middle East politics responsible for it spinning out of control?
One of the big reasons the world looks to America as a global peacekeeper has been our role in keeping international trade routes open and safe for use.
Rogue nations are seeing a moment of weakness in that protection. They are testing our resolve.
One of Iran’s terrorist proxies has turned pirate, boarding and seizing an Israeli cargo ship.
Yemen’s Houthi rebels seized an Israeli-linked cargo ship in a crucial Red Sea shipping route Sunday and took its 25 crew members hostage, officials said, raising fears that regional tensions heightened over the Israel-Hamas war were playing out on a new maritime front.
The Iran-backed Houthi rebels said they hijacked the ship over its connection to Israel and would continue to target ships in international waters that were linked to or owned by Israelis until the end of Israel’s campaign against Gaza’s Hamas rulers. — SanDiego Union Tribune
There is hardly anything the Biden administration — and Obama’s before him — wouldn’t do to try to curry Iran’s favor.
Politico Reporting on Project Cassandra (here, here) showed us abandoning our investigations against international terrorists because Obama would abandon any other priority in order to strike a deal with Iran. He got played.
Iran recognized Obama was weak and treated America accordingly. You haven’t forgotten about THIS shameful Obama-era photo already, have you?
Trump was a different breed. When Iran started striking American interests, he turned Solemani into salsa, and promised there would be more where that came from if the wanted to FAFO.
Iran blinked.
Obama’s third term is well underway, surrounding Joe with some of the same fail-sons that blundered their way through the Obama years calling the shots. With predictably familiar policies and results.
Ever since Hamas threw the region into war, it has been open season for Iran’s proxies taking shots at American troops in the region.
Terrorists attacked U.S. military bases in Iraq and Syria on Friday, striking three facilities with one-way drones and leaving at least one soldier injured, a Department of Defense report says.
The incidents bring the total number of attacks on U.S. coalition forces to 60 since October 17, the Associated Press is reporting, citing two U.S. officials.

ClashDaily authors have been among the voices calling on Joe Biden to give these groups a proper slapdown that will actually get their attention, rather than letting them take an endless series of free potshots at our troops.

One of the groups doing Iran’s dirty work is the Houthis.
These are the same guys that stormed an American embassy and took American hostages in November 2021… 2 months after the debacle in Afghanistan.
They were officially on American lists of Terrorist groups until Biden took office. Scant days after Biden took office, this Iran proxy was conveniently relieved of its terrorist designation.
That didn’t stop them from hitting Saudi oil production facilities with drone strikes.
Mr Netanyahu said neither the vessel nor the crew were Israeli, and called it an “Iranian attack on an international ship”.
Japanese shipping company Nippon Yusen – also known as NYK Line – said the ship, named Galaxy Leader, was carrying 25 crew members when it was seized near Hodeida, Yemen on its way to India.
Those on board are believed to include Bulgarian, Mexican, Filipino and Ukrainian nationals.
“The government of Japan absolutely condemns such an act,” said Hirokazu Matsuno, Japan’s chief cabinet secretary, adding there were no Japanese nationals among the crew.
[…] Mohammed Abdulsalam, a spokesman for Yemen’s Houthi rebels, said on X, formerly Twitter, the group’s seizure of the vessel was only “the start” of its fighters waging “battle at sea”.
Houthi’s military spokesman, Yahya al-Sarea, claimed the ship was Israeli and had been taken to a port in Yemen.

Ronald Reagan sank Iran’s entire navy for less of a provocation than this.
Trump would probably have done some kind of a show of strength by now.
But for all his bravado against Trump and Putin, Biden is acting like the kid stuffed in a locker with the shirt pulled up over his head, not the C-in-C of the most lethal military force in world history.
He’s been sized up by our adversaries. They figure he’s a lightweight.
That fact in and of itself has made the world a far more dangerous place.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.
Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.
This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
