MASTERCLASS: Journos Try To Bait Vivek Into Sniping At Trump — He Turns The Tables

Whether Vivek is 'your' guy or not, everyone can watch these tactics and learn from them

Of the GOP contenders still in the running, three are fantastic at beating them at their own game. Each one does it just a little bit differently.

Trump was the trailblazer in going after the journalists. Going straight for the jugular, it’s a power move. It doesn’t rely on finesse at all. DeSantis is more about calling the journalists on their biases and setting the record straight, usually with hard facts. It’s a balance of force and finesse.

Vivek’s approach relies almost completely on finesse. He can smile as he says it. Like the others, he doesn’t accept the journalists framing. Instead of contesting point by point, he explains why the journalist isn’t even asking the right question to get the answer they pretend to care about.

You see this principle in action here when the journos are hoping to get a little red-on-red infighting they can use in soundbites when we move to the general.

Abby Phillip, like so many other left-wing operatives with press passes almost certainly wanted to bank some soundbites when a Republican is calling Trump a bigot for when he’s in the race against either Joe (if he can make it that far) or (more likely) whoever they decide to parachute in at the last minute to take the reins for him.

Vivek isn’t taking her bait.

Instead, he’s taken the opportunity to inform a leftwing CNN audience about news that CNN refuses to report about the calamitous Democrat record.

He’s literally doing THEIR job of informing their leftwing audience FOR them.

Game.
Set.
Match.

We need more of that kind of spirit. That’s why Doug wrote this:

John The Baptist: A Rude Awakening Precedes A Great Awakening.

This timely little tome chronicles the politically incorrect ministry of one of God’s most effective wildmen, John the Baptist, who prepared the way for Christ’s ministry.

The abrasive message of repentance John preached 2000 years ago is still confrontational and offensive today — but it is also life-changing.

In our putrid, worldly culture that has turned away from God, this book is a must-read for every Christian.

Available in paperback for those of you who like the feel of the pages in your hot, little hands, on Kindle to keep it right at your fingertips, and as an epic Audiobook.
