NASTY: Newlywed Public School Teacher Charged For Sexual Indecency With Her Students
When will public schools face the same scrutiny some churches faced for similar stories?
Fifty-eight days after her wedding day, the man who married Cassidy Kraus filed for divorce. That’s the least of the worries for a woman who now faces 33 years in prison.
Cassidy Kraus (24) was, until recently, a school teacher in Iowa’s IKM-Manning Schools. She now faces sex charges including lascivious acts with a minor, dissemation of obscene material, and 3rd-degree sexual abuse.
She is accused of sending nudes by Snapchat to a 13yo student, and having done more than that with a 14yo.
One of the charges alleges that Kraus “perform[ed] sex acts with a person 14 years of age” and was alleged to have “fondled or touched” the genitals of multiple children. She’s also accused of “disseminating [ed] obscene material” to a student in 2022 and two more in 2023.
The local middle school, who employed Kraus as a reading teacher, said she attended school in the same district where she taught and allegedly committed the crimes. Her first appearance in court was on Thursday. She has yet to enter a plea. — Mirror
