OOPS: Susan Sarandon’s Anti-Semitic Rant Just Cost Her… BIGLY

In America, you are free to speak your mind and share your opinions — however stupid or shameful they may be. Susan Sarandon exercised that right in an indefensible rant that Jews were getting ‘a taste of’ what Muslims suffer in America.

But that freedom does not innoculate you from being judged for exercising those freedoms in abhorrent ways. Others remain free to avoid such people like the plague.

In related news, Sarandon is now no longer being represented by United Talent Agency.

As it happens, it isn’t just decent people who found those remarks offensive, even people in Hollywood were offended by them.

The agency cut ties after her inflammatory statements about Jews being harassed and intimidated in America, while she was attending a pro-Palestine rally.

“There are a lot of people that are afraid, that are afraid of being Jewish at this time, and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country,” Sarandon said at the rally, according to the Post.
UTA on Tuesday confirmed to The Times that the actor was no longer a client. The Beverly Hills agency declined further comment. — JPost

In another clip of the rally Sarandon says being anti-Palestinian is the result of “brainwashing and conditioning for years and years.”

She thought the best response to the largest mass slaughter of Jewish civilians since the Holocaust would be to lecture Jews… about suffering???

The callousness to their suffering wasn’t the only problem with her statement.

Aligning with Palestinians seems a strange decision for a supposed peace activist. Not only is the political organization called Hamas explicitly driven by a religious war that will accept nothing less than the complete genocide of all Jews in the region — we have that in writing.

But with news like this, it’s getting really difficult to treat ordinary Palestinians as meaningfully distinct from their genocidal leadership. Here’s a poll released by AWRAD. This was taken AFTER the 0ctober 7 attack. Respondents in the West Bank and in Gaza were polled about their views of the slaughter of innocents that (as you remember) included cutting fingers off of a little girl, gouging an eye out of a man, slicing the breasts off of a woman, and raping a woman while her infant was being baked alive in an oven.

The left’s sudden interest in Islamophobia seems misplaced and ill-timed

Of course, we’re supposed to believe that Muslims are feeling unsafe.

Muslims…? Really?

Let’s take a moment to consider the context of that sudden concern about Islamophobia.

• We’ve got schools around the country overrun by people calling for the public to back the genocidal war against Jews (eg: ‘Intifada Revolution’ chant) that Hamas describes in their founding document…
• Pro-Hamas protests are NOTHING like the Pro-Israel ones have been. They have destroyed property, and have overrun government buildings throughout the world.Grand Central Station was shut down and they tried to kick in the doors.
• An elderly Jewish man with an Israeli flag was killed by a pro-Palestinian man with a megaphone.
• This is not the behavior of people trembling and fearing for their safety. This is the behavior of belligerents who have become confident they can act with impunity.
• Sarandon is worried about people like THIS feeling concerned for their safety:

Jewish buildings and centers of worship have been subject to vandalism, firebombings, bomb threats. Schools have even been shot at.

Contrary to the FBI’s favorite ridiculous narrative, this trend isn’t being driven by blue-eyed, blonde, red-hat wearing Trump voters from the deep South, either.
