Trump, Tucker, Peterson & Rogan — ‘The Troublemakers’

Most people avoid being hated. We’ve been programmed like animals, primarily via social media, to love being loved. Yep, most folks need your “thumbs up” to pretty much everything they say or do, or their day is officially ruined. The prophet Elijah didn’t play that kind of lame game when he schlepped this blue marble many many moons ago. Elijah was going to say and do what God wanted him to say and do and let the chips fall where they may.

“Elijah answered, “I serve the Lord of heaven’s armies. As surely as the Lord lives, I will stand before Ahab today.” So Obadiah went to Ahab and told him where Elijah was. Then Ahab went to meet Elijah. When he saw Elijah, he said, “Is it you — the biggest troublemaker in Israel?”  — 1 Kings 18:15-17 (ICB).

Wow. What badge of honor for God’s eternal enemies, governed by rank devils to call a believer, “the biggest troublemaker in Israel.”

Question: Would you love to have a compromised and corrupt politician and his whore wife view you as trouble on two skinny legs? I would. That’s what Elijah got stickered with. Yessir Elijah was the founder and CEO of TroubleMaker Ministries. Can you say, #boom?

So, why was Elijah tagged with the troublemaker moniker? Well, it was based on him being obedient to his Divine calling. God called him to be a troublemaker. Awww … what’s the matter? Did your youth pastor not tell you that God calls people to be holy troublemakers?

Elijah’s calling was to confront corrupt political and religious leaders. His work was not to start orphanages. He didn’t feed the poor. He didn’t have a leprosy outreach. He didn’t start an effort to save abused camels. He was not a life coach with a Christian flare. His job was to scalp corrupt leaders who were leading God’s people astray.

President Trump, Tucker Carlson, Jordan Peterson, and Joe Rogan are also epic Troublemakers. Indeed, they too have a solid dollop of Elijah’s defiant spirit coursing through their veins and I dig it. I’m grateful for their defiance of evil ideas and evil leaders who seek to enslave us po’ rubes here in the flyover states. Ergo, because they have cojones and they let them do the bashing of all the evil toads, both foreign and domestic, I crafted my latest oil painting as an homage to their, “don’t mess with our freedom” spirit.
