SPARKS FLY: Van Jones Vs. Vivek Over ‘Replacement Theory’ Controversy — Who Won?

Of the four people on that debate stage, two went home having accomplished something, and two went home to lick their wounds.

Chris Christie was the ‘why are you even here’ candidate who got less respect than Rodney Dangerfield. Going by how he conducted himself, he probably deserved even less than that.

Meanwhile, Ronnie D & Vivek took turns playing hackey-sack with Haley, whose tough-as-nails girl boss persona was blown halfway to Hell in the course of a single debate.

Although Vivek and DeSantis both probably had winning nights, they got there by very different paths. Florida’s Governor presented a feisty-but-serious steady-hand-on-the-tiller side of himself for the audience. Vivek, on the other hand, was thoroughly enjoying himself as he took a flamethrower to his competition.

That metaphor fits since his closing comments were nothing less than scorched earth I’m-bold-enough-to-say-unspeakable-facts-and-you-aren’t goading of his rivals.

That moment in the debate was the first of many dominoes to fall.

He helpfully posted the video he was referencing between then-VP Biden and Mayorkas talking about exactly this issue:

Over at the set at CNN, Van Jones became apoplectic. He was ‘shaking while listening to him’, while calling Vivek despicable and claiming this was ‘one step away from Nazi Propaganda’.
