MEME OF THE DAY: With DeSantis Ending Campaign, Here Are The Reactions Of ‘Politicians’
Some of these impressions are spot on!
As most everyone has heard by now, Ron DeSantis suspended his campaign yesterday. He has thrown his support behind Trump.
Now that they are no longer fighting for the same prize, Trump has laid aside the ruthless campaign rhetoric and has some very warm and cordial things to say about his former rival.
All’s fair in love and war, as the saying goes.
But just because Ron and Don have buried the hatchet, doesn’t mean the meme-makers will pass up a chance to jump in.
If you want to see the low-effort Meatball Ron and Mickey Mouse memes floating around on the interwebs, go ahead, they’re not hard to find.
We thought this one was far better than that predictable stuff. It’s comic Matt Friend doing impressions of politicians (on both sides of the aisle) reacting to the news.
You can tell by the context that this was recorded after DeSantis made the announcement, but before Trump buried the hatchet.
