Non-Violent Pro-Lifers Face 11 Years In Prison Under Admin That Raised Bail Money For Rioters

This is the absurdity you get when you start adding adjectives to 'justice'

Ever since SCOTUS agreed with Ruth Bader Ginsberg that Roe v. Wade was a dumb ruling in the Dobbs decision, the arrest and conviction of pro-life protesters has been very high on Biden’s to-do list.

After being embarrassed by the ruling where Mark Houck was easily acquitted after a SWAT-style raid terrorized his children at home, Joe’s finally managed to throw some of those danged pro-lifers in jail.

Six pro-life activists were found guilty of blocking access to an abortion clinic on Tuesday and could face a sentence of up to 11 years in prison, according to a press release from the Thomas More Society.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) charged 11 pro-life activists in October 2022 with violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, which “prohibits threats of force, obstruction and property damage intended to interfere with reproductive health care services,” for blocking the entrance of an abortion clinic in March 2021. A jury ruled that the six defendants were guilty after a six-day trial at the Fred D. Thompson U.S. Courthouse in Nashville, Tennessee, according to the press release.

“We are, of course, disappointed with the outcome,” Steve Crampton, senior counsel for the Thomas More Society, which is representing Paul Vaughn, said. “This was a peaceful demonstration by entirely peaceable citizens—filled with prayer, hymn-singing, and worship—oriented toward persuading expecting mothers not to abort their babies. Unfortunately, the Biden Department of Justice decided to characterize Paul Vaughn’s peaceful actions as a felony ‘conspiracy against rights,’ to intimidate and punish Paul and other pro-life people and people of faith.” — DailyCaller

The six defendants convicted in this ruling (Chet Gallagher, Coleman Boyd, Heather Idoni, Cal Zastrow, Paul Vaughn and Dennis Green) face up to 11 years in prison and $35k in fines.

This is in sharp contrast to how the DOJ has handled other violations of the very same law where pro-life clinics have been vandalized with graffiti and threats, or in some cases firebombed. Dozens were the targets of ACTUAL violence.

Do you remember what Chris Wray said when he was asked about those cases? It was dark. THAT’s why there are so many more instances of Christians being thrown in jail for trying to keep babies from being killed in utero than serious criminal charges of people chucking bricks at cops… or Molotov cocktails into crisis pregnancy clinics.

This is the same administration, we remind you, that wanted to see the father of a 14yo girl who had been raped in a public school bathroom by a boy in a skirt (while the school tried to sweep the incident under the rug) to face disorderly conduct charges for daring to complain about it in a public meeting.

If Youngkin hadn’t issued a pardon, he might have served time. This is the same incident the White House used as an excuse to treat concerned parents as if they were ‘domestic terrorists’… and around the same time that the administration of this supposed ‘devout Catholic’ was targeting latin mass as a possible extremist group.

If only they cared as much about foreign threats like China or terrorists on the watch list that have waltzed across our border, unopposed.

No time for any of that when there are Republicans around every corner and Christians behind every bush.
