Republican Governors Throw Their Support Behind Abbott Defending Border, Defying Biden
Biden never counted on anyone actually invoking the State Constitution to defy him
Anyone following the race between Abbott and Allen West to run as the GOP nominee for Governor would have seen this day coming. It was one of West’s central promises.
Joe Biden is fighting like hell to keep that border open wide so he can flood America with illegal aliens. We think we’ve got his motives figured out: he wants to turn America into a permanent one-party state.
Pretty sick and cynical for a guy who pretends the OTHER side is full of dangerous ‘threats to democracy’.
Joe went to court to pull down Arizona’s wall of shipping containers, gates in the Trump wall were welded open, Joe fought the Rio Grande Buoy system, and he’s fighting the razor wire.
Texas has deemed this an invasion, and is invoking a clause in the State Constitution that empowers Texas to take action without any help from the Feds.
Gov Abbott drew his line in the sand with a tweet.

The three key complaints are in bullet points and highlight failures of Biden’s Administration to uphold their responsibilities under law.
1) failure to faithfully execute immigration laws
2) instructed agencies to federal statutes regarding detention of illegal immgrants
3) tear open border security infrastructure, enticing illegal immigrants away from lawful crossing points (where nobody dies) and into dangerous illegal crossing points
Here are the critical quotes by which he justifies what comes next:
Now he tells the feds to pound sand while he directs State resources to do the job Biden refuses to do.
Does he have a right to do this? Simply stated, yes. There are provisions written right into the State Constitution.
The Redheaded Liberarian takes us back to Federalist 46 to understand the context of Abbott’s reference.
In Federalist 46, Madison argues that the federal government could never dominate or wipe out the states. He outlines several possible scenarios of federal overreach, and explains why the states would prevail in every single case.

Republican Governors are absolutely backing Texas up on this.
If the Constitution really made states powerless to defend themselves against an invasion, it wouldn’t have been ratified in the first place and Texas would have never joined the union when it did.
TX is upholding the law while Biden is flouting it.

Yesterday, (Jan 24) there were a couple of states pledging support. Then about seven.
By morning on today (Jan 25) that number is up to 14 states that have pledged to stand with and offer support to Texas in their efforts to secure the border.
PATRIOT ALERT: 14 RED STATES ARE UNITING TO SUPPORT TEXAS AGAINST THE RUNAWAY BIDEN REGIME!
Folks, it's happening.
Ak, Fl, Ia, Id, Ne, ND, Oh, Ok, SC, SD, Tn, Va, WV, and Wy are answering the PATRIOT CALL and deploying personnel and resources to the Texas border!

“Ak, Fl, Ia, Id, Ne, ND, Oh, Ok, SC, SD, Tn, Va, WV, and Wy”
That number could go higher still.
There is NOT going to be an easy way out for Biden in this one.
On the other side, Dems are calling on Joe to nationalize the Texas National Guard.
To which the internet is replying:
One way or another, this is gonna get spicy.
Nice to see we’re finally catching up to what West was talking about in 2021 and 2022. There are a few other options mentioned we’d like to see added to the conversation.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.
Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.
This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
