Vegan Fast Food Restaurants Are Learning Economics 101… The Hard Way

Giving the public what YOU want is not the same as giving them what THEY want

Poor PETA. This news must have them so dejected. The fake meat fad failed, and vegan restaurants aren’t far behind them.

Even vegan eateries in the UK are falling on hard times or shutting down completely.

After giving the vegetarian fad a test-drive, many have discovered that it an unsustainable way to live. Some of the early adopters have scaled back to a part-time reduction in the meat they eat. (Which is also bad news for vegetarian-only restaurants.)

Vegan fast-food restaurants face being wiped out across the UK after a chain backed by Lewis Hamilton and Leonardo DiCaprio closed half its branches, while another shop was forced to sell meat in order to stay afloat.

On top of that, the fake meat options are bloody expensive. That’s not a great business model in a period of high inflation.

‘The cost-of-living crisis is also having an effect, as consumers generally cut back on food, vegans are cutting back on faux meat products. Interestingly this is not just the UK and we are seeing this as a global trend.’

Elsewhere, Mr Glover told The Guardian: ‘Too many startups are competing with established companies that have launched vegan lines and with supermarkets that are investing in own-label plant-based ranges.

Not even the star power of having DiCaprio as an owner was able to save one brand.

It comes after Neat Burger, backed by Leonardo DiCaprio and Lewis Hamilton, closed half of its London sites in December while a vegan restaurant in Cheshire has been forced to start serving meat because it has too few vegan customers

The eat ze bugs people had better take note.

The UK has a strong tradition of being a meat-and-potatoes culture.

As for the rest of us?

If this is any indication, it’s safe to say we won’t be giving up our genuine animal protein any time soon.

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive

Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
