Would-Be Mass Shooter At Joel Osteen’s Church Stopped COLD By Good Guys With Guns
One adult and one kid injured in what could easily have been a bloodbath
A woman in a trenchcoat walked into the 16,000 seat church in Houston Texas, pulled out a long gun, and started shooting.
Two off-duty officers were there, and neutralized the threat. Thanks to their quick action, the only one to die that day was the one who actually deserved to die.
A five-year old boy, and a man in his 50s were injured. The boy, critically. But the quick response by officers who had both the training and the tools to respond to a threat were able to keep it from getting worse.
Despite the chaos, Finner said the tragedy “could have been a lot worse” if the two officers had not “engaged” the woman when she opened fire. They had been working security at the church on Sunday, and Finner praised them for their quick actions.
The officers work for the Houston Police Department and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, respectively. Both have been placed on protocol-mandated administrative duty.
After she was shot, the woman told police that she had a bomb, but authorities said no explosives were found when her vehicle and backpack were searched. First responders continued to search the megachurch for hours afterwards.
Osteen said Sunday that his congregation is “devastated.” He added that he would pray for the victims and for the woman who did the shooting and their families. It was not clear where he was at the time of the shooting.
“We’re going to stay strong and we’re going to continue to, to move forward,” he said during the news conference with police. “There are forces of evil, but the forces that are for us — the forces of God — are stronger than that. So we’re going to keep going strong and just, you know, doing what God’s called us to do: lift people up and give hope to the world.” — MLIVE
At least one of the victims seems to have been hit during the shoot-out with police.

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive
Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
