High School Tells Teen To Remove Old Glory From His Truck — He Gets Last Laugh (VIDEO)

Dems have been framing this election as a battle for the soul of America. They’re right… but not in the way they think. As this story from Indiana will demonstrate.

There is a strain of blame-America-first anti-patriots that will walk past a mountain of great American accomplishments to put her faults under the microscope. Worse, if the faults they do find aren’t bad enough, they start manufacturing new ones by the dozen.

Those are the usually the very same perpetually-offended (mainly Democrat voters) who bend over backward to show their allegiance to the Latest Thing — whose digital profiles have had images of syringes and mask, of BLM fists, of flags showing fealty to the rainbow cause, and of course, one or both of the Ukraine and Palestinian flags.

But let one of them encounter a bonafide patriot who loves to fly the Stars and Stripes and they suddenly get the vapors. It’s the one fealty (other than religion) that they simply cannot tolerate.

That’s the kind of ridiculousness that pushed the Veep and counselor from East Central High School in to tell 17-year-old Cameron Blasek he had to remove the American Flag from his truck. If he refused, he would be threatened with ‘insubordination’.

Whichever miserable pearl clutcher stirred the pot in the first place must have gone absolutely nuclear when they saw what happened next. The parking lot was filled with trucks flying American flags. Because they can.

Cameron even cracked the school handbook and there wasn’t even a whisper of mention about flags on vehicles. It wasn’t long before the story went viral.

This is 17-year-old Cameron Blasek.

He was told by East Central High School to remove the American flag from his truck.

He held the line and did not comply.

The next day, students flooded the school parking lot with cars and American flags.

It’s not clear if this was a case of one or two administrators getting our of line, or whether a policy there had been some agreement on had attracted too much negative publicity, but either way, the school principle has entered the conversation and made it clear that there is nothing prohibiting the display of the American flag.

Flags touting other causes or issues might be subject to scrutiny — but Old Glory remains free to fly wherever she pleases.
