Andrew Linn: Biden And Iran

With all the attacks being launched by Iran against Israel, the Biden Administration has decided not to join an offensive against Iran.

Why is that? Is it because Biden doesn’t care much for Israel? Is he trying to pander to the Anti-Israeli crowd? Is he trying to avoid being in a war while trying to get re-elected?

Or is it because Old Joe Biden is desperate to revive the Iran Nuclear Deal?

I’d say that is the reason.

As I mentioned in a previous article, the Iran Nuclear Deal is illegal. Here’s why:

The Iran Nuclear Deal is a violation of the Iran Threat Reduction and Syria Human Rights Act, which ironically was passed in August 2012. Such a law prohibits foreign subsidiaries of American owned businesses from doing business with Iran.

So now, under a section of the Iran Nuclear Deal, foreign subsidiaries of American owned businesses are allowed to do business with Iran, provided the Iranians are fulfilling their end of the deal.

In addition, the terms under this law are to remain in effect until Iran is removed from the list of nations that sponsor terrorism and it ends its pursuit, acquisition, and development of nuclear weapons (or any other weapons of mass destruction for that matter)- both of which Iran is guilty of doing.

Such a deal will only allow Iran to construct nuclear weapons and put Israel in danger, since Iran has threatened to wipe Israel off the map. And who is to say that once Iran has nuclear weapons, it will not stop at Israel? Suppose the Iranians decide to launch a nuclear strike against the United States or any of its European allies?

As long as Iran is ruled by Islamic fundamentalists, it will continue to sponsor terrorism and develop nuclear weapons. And it once Iran has nuclear weapons, it will force other nations to submit to its will or launch a nuclear strike against them. The latter option is a more likely scenario.

Given the fact that Iran’s economy is not in good shape due to the collapse of the rial (its currency, which in turn just lost 30% of its value), and the oppression its government inflicts on its own people, the result could be the Iranian people rising up and overthrowing the theocratic regime. In fact, that is what the people of Iran should do.

Meanwhile, Congress should reject any attempt at reviving the Iran Nuclear Deal.

Congress could also impeach Biden, but that option is unlikely since he is up for
re-election.

Thus, Biden needs to be voted out of office.

At any rate, America needs to stand by Israel.
