Defying Biden, Israel Hits Back At Iran With A ‘Limited Strike’

Doesn't look like Biden has much influence for either side of this conflict, does it?

Israel said they would hit back in response to Iran’s missile barrage, and they have done so… in a ‘limited strike’.

For all of his ‘tough talk’ Joe Biden hails from the ‘give the bully your lunch money’ school of diplomacy. He seems shocked with others do not share his ‘sensibilities’.

Giving money to Iran and Hamas did nothing to dissuade the October 7 slaughter of innocents in Israel, and saying ‘don’t’ had no more of an effect on Tehran than it did on Moscow two years earlier.

Israel, on the other hand comes from the ‘never back away from a fight’ school of thought.

It’s an understanding of the world that knows even the skinny kid going down swinging in a lost cause will send a message to bullies that any ‘win’ they might secure will come at the cost of a flurry of desperate fists and feet, and the beating that comes with it. It’s at the core of Reagan’s famous ‘peace through strength’ diplomacy, and the mirror-image of whatever ‘doctrine’ Joe Biden has embraced.

Since the Biden/Blinken/Sullivan approach to maintaining Middle East peace and deterring aggression hasn’t been worth a damn, Israel is handling it their own way.

After a barrage of over 300 incoming pieces of ordinances, Israel was not willing to give the bully a free punch. Even with the ‘muted’ or ‘moderated’ response, with Biden pressuring Israel to do nothing at all, doing nothing would send a message of weakness. Israel was left to thread a difficult needle.

Last night, Israel gave the response they promised… launching what has been characterized as a ‘limited strike’.

Israel has not offered any official acknowledgment of the attack, despite the Pentagon leaking details.

Israeli official security and governmental sources told The Jerusalem Post on Friday: “An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Israel retaliated where they were attacked.”

That said, officially, Israel will not accept responsibility for this attack for strategic reasons. Sources explain that the Iranians claim it was an “explosion at a factory” because they wish to avoid escalation. Israeli sources told the Post, that It’s unclear why the Pentagon disclosed to the American media that Israel was involved; they could have remained silent, they say. Thet (sic) could of preserved Iran’s dignity, and avoided escalating the situation on their own. — JPOST
