Last Days Madness: The 2024 Eclipse Version
The crazies came out for the solar eclipse again. Christians really ought to know better.

Didja hear the world was supposed to end again? Yeah, well, in case you haven’t noticed, we’re all still here.
There was another ripple of the Last Days madness flickered through American Churchianity. With all the false alarms we’ve had lately, you’d think we’d have gotten the hint and thrown these clowns to the curb by now.
Now that the excitement has come and gone and the planet is still humming along, this is a good time to bring up the problem at the heart of the crazies getting swept up in every hoax that comes down the pike… and what the remedy is.
Because the Church hasn’t always been looking for an escape hatch from life. Plenty of generations have been too busy flipping the world on its head and spreading the gospel to get caught up in whining about how bad things have been getting.
And some of them were doing that while dealing with plagues, wars, famines and other calamities that would stagger our sad, little First-World imaginations.

While you’re at it, here’s Doug’s latest book:
Lionhearted: Making Young Christian Males Rowdy Biblical Men
Dear young Christian male, this book you’re about to read is meant to challenge you to your very core. Its intent is not to make you feel warm and fuzzy. Some of the chapters will upset you greatly, especially if you’re a dandy who was raised with kid gloves by a helicopter mommy.
That said, in addition to the holy introspection contained herein, this book will also shoot adrenaline into your soul. It’ll push you to be a Godly risk taker and earth shaker. A veritable Rebel With A Cause just like the Captain of Our Salvation, the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you want a feel-good book that tickles your ears and morphs you into a little Christian popinjay, this tome ain’t for you. You should put this book down and walk away from it immediately. However, if, young man, if … your motto is to give God your utmost for His highest, and you wanna live a life worthy of Christ’s death, then this book will be grist for your mill.
