Trump’s Florida Fundraiser CRUSHES The Lizzo/Biden Haul They Bragged About In New York
Three Dem presidents, Lizzo, and Colbert combined couldn't TOUCH Trump's numbers
Remember how proud the left was when Clinton, Obama, Colbert, Lizzo and others filled a room with some billionaire donors, charged obscene numbers for a selfie or a meeting?
The same day Trump was attending the memorial service of a murdered New York Cop, New York Democrats threw a party for a few of their favorite (cue the Bernie Sanders voice) ‘millionaires and billionaires’.
They were crowing pretty loudly about their results, too. Remember?
PBS, in their typical ‘nonpartisan’ way, described the Biden event where the headline glowed and the opening paragraphs positively gushed.
The headline: Biden raises record $26 million at star-studded New York campaign event
The opening lines were as follows. (Note the very editorial adjectives they see fit to use in framing the story.)
Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and some big names from the entertainment world teamed up Thursday night to deliver a rousing New York embrace of President Joe Biden that hauled in a record-setting $26 million-plus for his reelection campaign.
The mood at Radio City Music Hall was electric as Obama praised Biden’s willingness to look for common ground and said, “That’s the kind of president I want.” Clinton said simply of the choices facing voters in 2024: “Stay with what works.”
“Rousing… Record-setting… Electric… Common ground.”
If only there were some clue about the authorial intent there. To borrow a line from Joe Biden, they see this haul of $26 Million at the Radio City Music Hall as ‘a big f***ing deal’.
Here’s the thing about setting records — it’s only a record until someone else comes along and tops it. So… how long did Biden’s amazing fundraising record hold? Let’s see… a little quick math… carry the one… March 28th, 2024, until… April 8th, 2024. That’s almost 2 whole weeks!
That’s because on Saturday, Trump threw a party of his own in Palm Beach. And by the end of it, Biden’s record-breaker was looking like chump change.
President ‘The Donald’ had a few successful business types of his own to invite. And they didn’t need Biden popping up out of the floor with Bill and Barack like some tawdry stripper popping out of a giant cake to get the job done, either.
That’s not even mockery. It’s what actually happened:
So, three presidents walked into Radio City Music Hall.
There’s no punch line. It’s not fake news. That’s what happened. Sort of.
Actually, all three emerged Thursday night on a lift from the depths of the orchestra pit, accompanied by vapors that billowed from a smoke machine as the sound system blared Bruce Springsteen’s 1975 hit “Born to Run.” — Times Union
Yeesh.
Then, not even two weeks later, it must have practically KILLED the NYTimes writer to pen the following lines:
The shoreline-blocking Range Rovers, Aston Martins and Bentleys hinted at the deep-pocketed donors attending a fund-raising dinner for former President Donald J. Trump’s presidential campaign, which it and the Republican National Committee said had raised more than $50.5 million.
The event, hosted by the billionaire John Paulson at his home, followed a concerted push by the Trump campaign to address a longstanding financial disparity with President Biden and Democrats as both parties gear up for the general election.
The reported total, which cannot be independently verified ahead of campaign finance filings in the coming months, is nearly double the $26 million that President Biden’s campaign said it raised last month at a celebrity-studded event at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
That’s right. For all the crowing that Biden had raked in a mighty haul of $26 million, that figure was not just eclipsed 12 days later, the damned thing was drop-kicked into orbit.

Indeed.
It may be that the GOP is still lagging behind their DNC counterparts on the fundraising side, but if the Left blows off Trump’s ability to rally people around a project or cause, they’ll only do so at their own peril.
As for the GOP trailing in fundraising so far, just ask Hillary whether money alone is enough to buy an election result… or if the choice of candidate has something to do with it?
And this time? Biden doesn’t have the fear-mongering of the media’s COVID Death Clock to hang around Trump’s neck like an albatross.
It won’t be a fair fight, true.
It never is with these clowns. But it’s one where a good campaign coming together with a big push from his supporters just might deliver the kind of big win America needs right now.
