Hey Joe: Your DOJ Is Violating The Religious Rights Of A Catholic Grandmother… Do You Care?

She's a wheelchair-bound 75yo and clearly among the highest priorities of Biden's DOJ

We may never have any idea what actual crime numbers under Biden are, since several major cities (including NYC) have failed to submit the numbers on which those numbers are based. Anecdotally, we know the numbers are huge.

Fentanyl has become the leading cause of death for adults under 45. Car jackings and robberies are routine. Flashmob lootings, unless something unusual in the video makes it go viral, seldom qualify as headlines anymore. Worse still, criminals are routinely walking free to offend again.

Where are the real energies of Biden’s DOJ being spent? They have been working very hard at prosecuting anyone protesting abortion mills. Serial shoplifters walk free without charges, but an elderly woman whose chair blocked the path of someone going into an abortion mill could face serious prison time.

The 75yo was convicted in the District of Columbia, so it’s no surprise the courts took a dim view of her case. More concerning was their total lack of regard for her religious rights as she waited under house arrest. She’s under house arrest as she awaits her sentencing decision, but her requests for permission to attend mass have been denied. That’s a violation of her legal rights as written in law.

As the Washington Examiner explained:

She is on house arrest following her conviction due to her physical disabilities. Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly is denying her reasonable request to attend Mass on Sundays.
The Religious Freedom Restoration Act prohibits the federal government from violating someone’s religious liberty unless it can prove it “is in furtherance of a compelling governmental interest,” and it is using “the least restrictive means of furthering that compelling governmental interest.”
This is not the case.
The federal government may have a general interest in keeping a convicted, though hardly violent, criminal monitored in her home. It is not the “least restrictive means” possible to prevent her from leaving her home for two hours once a week to practice her religious faith.
While she is able now to have a priest come to her house, this is not a long-term guarantee. The Archdiocese of Boston, where she lives, sometimes has one priest serving multiple churches.
Harlow awaits sentencing, which is set to occur next week. Even if she ends up going to prison, it would not change how the Biden Justice Department has violated her rights in multiple ways. — Washington Examiner

What kind of Catholic keeps old ladies who care about the wellbeing of unborn babies from going to church, but helps anti-police rioters raise bail money?

John The Baptist: A Rude Awakening Precedes A Great Awakening.

This timely little tome chronicles the politically incorrect ministry of one of God’s most effective wildmen, John the Baptist, who prepared the way for Christ’s ministry.

The abrasive message of repentance John preached 2000 years ago is still confrontational and offensive today — but it is also life-changing.

In our putrid, worldly culture that has turned away from God, this book is a must-read for every Christian.

Available in paperback for those of you who like the feel of the pages in your hot, little hands, on Kindle to keep it right at your fingertips, and as an epic Audiobook.
