Here’s An Amplified Version Of The Lord’s Prayer

Here’s my amplified proclamation of the Lord’s Prayer. Proclaim this out loud with some gusto. Enjoy and share.

LORD GOD, I declare that you are my Father. Yes, the all-powerful and all-knowing Lord of the Universe is my Dad through adoption in Christ Jesus (Gal. 4:5). I am his blood-bought redeemed child. I have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but I have received a spirit of adoption by which I cry out, “Abba! Father!” (Rom. 8:15)

To all evil spirits, large and small, I proclaim my Father, as you well know, is a Heavenly Father, and he sits in the heavens and laughs at you, scoffs at you, and has shattered you with his rod of iron (Ps. 2:1-9). The heavens rule, not evil (Dan. 4:26). My God is far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come (Eph. 1:21).

Lord, I proclaim the holiness of your name. While others curse your name, use your name in vain, and drag your name through the mud there is coming a day when at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and … every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Phil. 2:10-11).

Lord God Almighty, my Rock, my Fortress, my Strength, and my Deliverer: I proclaim in my life, with my family, and where your gospel goes throughout the world that your kingdom and your will will be done and not what Satan wants to occur. No weapon of hell will prosper against your kingdom cause (Rom. 8:31-39). No man or devil can thwart what you have willed (Rom. 9:19, 28) for this earth. I declare your Word which states you want heaven to impact this earth and so it will. Your mission will be successful on earth and the gates of hell will not prevail (Matt. 16:18).

Lord, I thank you for providing me daily bread. My faithful Father supplies all my needs according to his riches in glory (Phil. 4:19). My heavenly Father knows about all of my needs and he will take care of me and uphold me as I seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all my needs will be taken care of and I don’t have to worry (Matt. 6:33-34).

Heavenly Father, forgive my many sins as I forgive those who have sinned against me. I release them and will not live in bitterness.

Thank you, my Rock and my Redeemer, for keeping me from temptation. Thank you for keeping evil at bay in my life. Thank you for exposing the schemes of the devil arrayed against me. Thank you for the full armor of God that you have given me to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one (Eph. 6:10-18).

God I declare yours is the kingdom and not the devil’s. Yours is the power and not Satan’s. And yours is the glory forever and not Lucifer’s or any man that’ll ever walk this planet. In Jesus’s name, amen!
