Mayor Adams Indicted: Good Policing Or Weaponized Politics?

What was REALLY behind the charges against Hizzonner?

Life comes at you fast. Only a year ago Eric was warning about the migrant crisis, and only a few months earlier, he was crowing about Trump being indicted. Now it’s the Mayor’s turn in the barrel.

The same man who was happy to see a political enemy indicted on what a former top cop must surely have known were the flimsiest of charges…

And said the jury pool could be counted on for its impartiality…

… is now taking a defiant stand against that same legal system and claiming it has been unjustly weaponized against him.

Oh, the irony.

The indictment will be unsealed at some point on Thursday. What is it likely to say?

We’ve got some clues.

The indictment follows a monthslong federal investigation by the US attorney’s office in Manhattan, which was reportedly scrutinizing his connection to Turkish officials and businessmen, and campaign donations he received. The charges he is facing are not publicly known at this time.

He claims to have done nothing wrong, and pledges to fight like hell to prove it. Seems like he is counting on a benefit of the doubt he was unwilling to give a certain candidate for President. Is the process as pure as the driven snow, or is it crooked as the day is long? Adams can’t have it both ways.

It’s anyone’s guess what’s REALLY driving this prosecution. But one thing seems clear… if he ever did have the benefit of partisan armor protecting him from the blunt end of the legal-system’s pool cue, he is no longer protected by it.

Did he step out of line? Did THIS statement come back to haunt him?

If the legal system is as above-board as Adams claims, an indictment must mean that they have non-trivial evidence to indict him with.

If this process is — as he suggests — some kind of a witch-hunt maybe he needs to rethink how he responded to the arrest of the 45th President. Especially in light of his line Trump gave in response to the verdict in May: ‘If they can do it to me, they can do it to anyone’.

It hasn’t even been four months since Trump said that. And we’re already seeing the first sitting mayor in New York’s history being put up on charges.

This is a helluva time to have doubts about how fair or corrupt the system is. If there was EVER a time the public would want to be confident it was NOT being used as a political cudgel, it’s at a time like this.

John The Baptist: A Rude Awakening Precedes A Great Awakening.

This timely little tome chronicles the politically incorrect ministry of one of God’s most effective wildmen, John the Baptist, who prepared the way for Christ’s ministry.

The abrasive message of repentance John preached 2000 years ago is still confrontational and offensive today — but it is also life-changing.

In our putrid, worldly culture that has turned away from God, this book is a must-read for every Christian.

Available in paperback for those of you who like the feel of the pages in your hot, little hands, on Kindle to keep it right at your fingertips, and as an epic Audiobook.
