Trump Saved His Best For Last In The Capstone Moment Of Last Night’s Debate

It was one of the bright spots in a nasty partisan dumpster fire

With ABC’s record of 100% positive reporting on Kamala and 93% negative on Trump, it was no secret that the debate was going to be a 3-on-1 dogpile.

True statements made by Trump were ‘fact-checked’ by the ‘moderators’ while obvious lies by Kamala like the Charlottesville hoax that even SNOPES is debunking were left unchallenged.

The debate itself was a mixed bag: neither the best debate Trump ever had, nor the worst. But for a 3-on-1 performance, against an opponent that’s only been in the running for a few weeks, and only published her policy the day before… he did tolerably well.

His best moment came when he was given room to say what he wanted to say, rather than what the ‘moderators’ wanted him to talk about.

His last moment of the debate was the only time he could say what he wanted to say without being boxed in by partisan framing. He took his opportunity and ran with it.

Eric Abbenante posted the video with this very good caption.

Here’s the caption he added:

Trump’s closing statement at the Presidential Debate, where he weaves in a rebuttal to Kamala Harris’ closing statement: “So she just started by saying she’s going to do this, she’s going to do that, she’s going to do all these wonderful things. Why hasn’t she done it? She’s been there for 3 and a half years. She should leave right now, go down to that beautiful White House, go to the Capitol, get everyone together and do the things you want to do, but you haven’t done it, and you won’t do it. Because you believe in things the American people don’t believe in.” Kamala Harris spent a whole debate trying to avoid the fact that she is the incumbent. President Trump closed the debate with the most important argument that Kamala Harris cannot answer. Only a quarter of voters believe Kamala represents change, and over 50% of voters believe Trump represents change. Meaning, 25% of voters do not know the definition of the word ‘change’.
