He was minding his own business, walking to synagogue about 9:30 in the morning when someone opened fire with a shout of Allahu Akbar.
Remember when Joe and Kamala tripped over themselves to make sure that no muslims would take offence at the mention of the slaughter we saw a year ago on 10/7? Kamala, and especially Joe, could barely bring themselves to raise the concern of ‘antisemitism’ without clutching their pearls about ‘Islamophobia’.
News flash, Joe & Kamala: it’s possible to raise a serious issue like anti-jewish violence without the need of some kind of obligatory apology to the countless muslims who want no part of such violence. Which is good, because in stories about a jihadi shooting a jewish man in Chicago, there’s no room for such equivocation.
The man responsible for the events in this story is an objectively bad man.
A 39-year-old man was walking in the area when an armed suspect approached him from behind and fired multiple shots, striking him in the shoulder, CPD said.
Neighbors said the man was going to his synagogue prior to the shooting.
Officers responded to the scene and at around 9:55 a.m., the suspect re-emerged from an alley and started firing shots at police and first responders, CPD said. An ambulance was also struck by gunfire.
The suspect continued shooting at officers from various locations over about two and a half minutes, according to police. After reaching the 6800 block of North Washtenaw Avenue, officers shot the suspect multiple times.

Shooting an unsuspecting target from behind and he was only hit in the shoulder? Either God was looking out for him, or our criminal class can’t shoot any straighter than our political class did when Kinzinger showed up at a rally for his Dem buddy in Missouri.

The man, 39, was shot by a 23 year old gunman, in the 2,600 block of North Washtenaw Avenue, which is home to many Orthodox Jewish families.
